DSV (CPSE:DSV) Q3 Earnings Spotlight Cash Flow As Road Risks Linger

DSV stock went into the Q3 2026 earnings release at DKK1,381.5 after a choppy three months and only a small gain over the past week. The headline was clear. Basic earnings per share reached 12.6 DKK on revenue of DKK 80,702m, and the key story was profit quality rather than top line.

The market focused on near term volatility. Longer term investors are more likely to zoom in on the margin and balance sheet picture around the DKK 6.4b of adjusted free cash flow and the updated DKK 24 to 25b full year EBIT guidance.

DSV synergies and tech gains under the microscope

The bullish story around DSV hinges on execution, not just growth assumptions.

"The main thing that has to go right is that DSV delivers the full Schenker and Contract Logistics uplift while realising around DKK 6b of additional AI and platform driven productivity gains and resolving current Road integration issues."

Q3 points in that direction but with caveats. Group EBIT and EPS improved and the conversion ratio reached 32.6%, while Contract Logistics EBIT rose about 50% and ROIC in that unit moved to 10.9%. Management kept the DKK 9b synergy ambition and tech targets, yet admitted roughly DKK 1b of planned savings is slipping into 2027.

Road integration risk and cash conversion stress test

The bear case argues that Road issues and cash drag could choke the DSV thesis.

"Free cash flow is currently affected by higher net working capital tied to elevated freight rates and delayed cash proceeds from around DKK 1.8b of property divestments."

Q3 results push back on the most negative version of that worry. Adjusted free cash flow reached DKK 6.4b and net interest bearing debt fell, with gearing moving toward the stated approximately 2x 2027 goal. At the same time, management conceded Road still carries volume losses and delayed synergies, which supports some caution around how quickly EBIT can translate into cash over the next few quarters.

Hunt Quiet Dislocations In Plain View

DSV just showed how a strong operational story can coexist with a nervous share price. The real opportunity could sit in stocks the market has not fully repriced yet.

  • Company 1 - 21% below our estimate - designs thermal and power systems that let high density AI racks shift from water hungry air cooling to closed loop liquid setups.

  • Company 2 - 36% below our estimate - enables merchants to add local pay-in and pay-out methods as digital transaction volumes expand across emerging market users and channels.

  • Company 3 - 40% below our estimate - expands a premium teahouse network while a large membership program steers customers toward higher margin, healthier beverage mixes.
