The Montreal-based company said it had net income of $1.40 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.54 per share.
The apparel maker posted revenue of $1.47 billion in the period.
Gildan expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.70 to $3.80 per share, with revenue in the range of $5.4 billion to $5.5 billion.
