Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC ( LSE:RKT , OTCQX:RBGLY ) has trimmed its 2026 sales growth outlook after temporary manufacturing constraints restricted Lysol supply in North America and vitamin demand slowed in China.
The consumer goods group now expects Core Reckitt like-for-like revenue growth of between 4% and 5% for the year.
Core Reckitt delivered like-for-like growth of 3% in the third quarter, rising to 4% when the Russia hygiene business was excluded.
Emerging Markets remained the strongest region, with revenue growth of 8% as India, Southeast Asia and Africa delivered double-digit increases.
Europe returned to growth with a 1% increase, supported by brands including Gaviscon, Vanish, Veet, Finish and Durex.
North America declined 1% as temporary manufacturing capacity constraints prevented Reckitt from fully meeting strong demand for Lysol.
The company said it expects both Lysol and the wider North American business to rebound during the fourth quarter as those constraints are addressed.
Mead Johnson Nutrition delivered 3% like-for-like growth, helped by premium products and innovation in Latin America and Southeast Asia.
Reckitt maintained its 2026 adjusted operating margin guidance of between 24.9% and 25.6%.
Chief executive Kris Licht said underlying performance remained solid despite a difficult consumer environment, with growth becoming increasingly broad-based across markets.
The company also reiterated its medium-term ambition for Core Reckitt to deliver consistent annual like-for-like revenue growth of between 4% and 5%.
