Investing.com-- Xiaomi (HK:1810) shares rose on Monday after the Chinese smartphone maker said its electric vehicle deliveries exceeded 50,000 in October, marking their highest monthly level so far this year as the company ramps up production to meet its annual target.
Hong Kong-listed shares of the company rose 6.3% to HK$28.14 by 05:12 GMT.
The company delivered about 336,490 vehicles in the first 10 months of 2026, representing roughly 61% of its full-year target of 550,000 vehicles.
Monthly deliveries rose from more than 30,000 in August to over 40,000 in September before crossing 50,000 in October.
The October milestone was only the second time Xiaomi's monthly deliveries had exceeded 50,000, following December 2025, when it delivered 50,212 vehicles.
Xiaomi is expanding its vehicle business as it seeks to diversify beyond smartphones and compete in China's crowded electric vehicle market.
