Millennial Potash Corp ( TSX-V:MLP , OTCQB:MLPNF , FRA:XOD ) said an extension of drillhole BA-006 at its Banio Potash Project in Gabon intersected about 40 metres of additional potash mineralization, lifting the cumulative total to roughly 120 metres from about 80 metres reported previously.

BA-006, drilled to 735 metres, intersected about nine evaporite cycles (II to X) with potash in each, and as the first hole to reach Cycles IX and X, it supports the company's view that the sequence thickens toward the west.

"We are delighted to report another highly encouraging drill result from the Banio Potash Project," Chair Farhad Abasov said.

BA-006 sits about 4 km west of BA-001 and was designed to test the westward continuation of mineralization from BA-001 and its southward extension from BA-002. Core shows prominent horizontal bedding dominated by interbedded halite and carnallite, with principal carnallitite seams totalling about 120 metres.

The hole expands the known potash footprint west of the current Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) area, bringing mineralization closer to the planned processing facility and deep-water port sites.

The project's current resource comprises a Measured MRE of 648.2 million tonnes grading 15.7% KCl, an Indicated MRE of 1.8 billion tonnes at 15.6% KCl, and an Inferred MRE of 3.56 billion tonnes at 15.6% KCl.

"Once all drill data have been interpreted and compiled, an updated MRE will be completed, providing a key foundation for the ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study," Abasov added.

The DFS is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
