Muth Electric appoints David Muth as new CEO, ushering in next generation of leadership

Jan. 16—MITCHELL — After nearly 55 years of growth and success, Muth Electric is entering a new chapter with the appointment of David Muth as Chief Executive Officer, effective Jan. 1, 2025. This leadership change is part of a planned four-year succession strategy, ensuring the company's legacy continues to thrive as it moves into the future.

David Muth, who has been with Muth Electric since 1992 and most recently served as President and Chief Operations Officer, succeeds his uncle, Paul Muth, who led the company for 46 years. His promotion marks the next generation of leadership for the family-owned business, which was founded in 1970 by Dick and Darlene Muth.

David Muth's appointment as CEO marks the culmination of a four-year succession plan, positioning him to lead Muth Electric into its next phase of growth. The company now operates in seven states and employs over 600 people, with David's leadership focused on building upon its strong legacy. He will continue to prioritize employee safety, exceptional customer service and a positive workplace culture.
