Osaic has made several changes to its executive leadership team, including hiring Tom Metzger as head of Empowered Independence, the firm's W-2 employee channel and Manish Shrivastava as chief marketing officer.

Metzger joins from Citizens Financial Group, where he served as head of private wealth and helped build a national wealth management platform with approximately $30 billion in client assets, 18 advisory teams and more than 200 professionals. Previously, he held leadership positions at First Republic Bank, Wells Fargo and J.P. Morgan Chase, developing extensive experience in advisor recruiting, team integration and business growth.

He replaces Cindy Hamel, who will transition into a newly created role as head of business operations and executive, responsible for the firm's operating plan.

Shrivastava joins Osaic from PulteGroup, where he served as CMO for 12 years, leading the company's brand strategy, digital marketing, customer experience and marketing capabilities. During his tenure there, he helped establish the company's first enterprise-wide customer experience discipline, advanced its digital engagement strategy, and developed new product offerings. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot and Procter & Gamble

He'll be based in Atlanta and oversee the firm's enterprise marketing strategy, including brand, communications, growth marketing and go-to-market initiatives.

He is Osaic's first CMO since Susan Theder, who departed Advisor Group in 2021, before the 2023 rebrand to Osaic. Jen Roche, who left in 2024 after serving as executive vice president of marketing and communications, was instrumental in steering the firm's rebrand. Most recently, Eric Hansen was serving as senior vice president of marketing, but he took a role at Envestnet in August.

"Manish brings an exceptional combination of strategic marketing expertise, brand leadership and a deep understanding of how to connect with customers in meaningful ways," said Shannon Reid, president and head of advisor growth and engagement at Osaic. "His experience translating complex capabilities into compelling, customer-focused strategies will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen how we engage financial professionals and support their long-term success."

Reid was hired last December from competitor Raymond James to serve as president and head of advisor growth and engagement.

Erinn Ford and John DiMonda, co-heads of the Osaic Independent Channel, were also recently moved to new roles. Ford now serves as head of enterprises, overseeing the firm's offices of supervisory jurisdiction and the advisors affiliated with them, while DiMonda is head of Advisor Direct, responsible for advisors affiliating directly with Osaic.

These are the latest in a string of executive changes at Osaic in recent months. In August, Osaic brought on Sayee Bellamkonda from Vialto Partners as its new chief artificial intelligence and technology officer. He replaced Ed Obuchowski, who served as chief technology officer until his departure from the firm last year, according to public filings.

This followed the July exits of Greg Cornick, executive vice president of wealth management solutions, and Kristy Britt, chief financial officer.

Kristen Kimmell, who had served as Osaic's head of business development since 2021 , left in June to rejoin RBC Wealth Management , her former employer. Two other senior Osaic executives stepped down from their roles in May, including Dimple Shah, head of strategy and client experience, and Sudhakar Kanagarajan, head of application engineering and architecture. Shah joined Humanity Labs , while Kanagarajan joined Fidelity Investments.

In April, Osaic's private equity owner, Reverence Capital Partners, closed on a recapitalization of the broker/dealer , with Bain Capital entering as a new investor. The deal raised more than $2 billion in fresh capital for Osaic and allowed Reverence to retain majority ownership.
