Zankore, an Indonesian AI infrastructure platform backed by Nvidia Corp. ( NASDAQ:NVDA ), signed a $3.1 billion loan to buy Nvidia GPUs, one of Asia's largest AI infrastructure financings. Citigroup Inc. (C), ING, Natixis, Qatar National Bank and United Overseas Bank underwrote it, with Citigroup the sole debt adviser. The money funds an AI factory starting at 100 megawatts and built to expand to 1 gigawatt.
Nvidia attached a revenue-sharing and credit-support arrangement to the deal. "Nvidia is helping us to make it financeable," said Zankore chairman Vikram Sinha, who added that Nvidia's service order lets the capacity reach small enterprises buying compute on demand rather than only investment-grade customers.
Nvidia introduced the model in July to help partners widen access to data center infrastructure and support smaller AI players.
