Here's a look at some of the small-cap companies in the news this Wednesday.
Nova Minerals has secured final Alaska state permits for its antimony project, completing the permitting process in around three months and clearing the way for construction ahead of targeted production in 2027.
Phase 1 is fully funded by an existing US$43.4 million Department of War award, with long-lead equipment already delivered.
Novo Resources has secured all regulatory and landholder approvals for a 2,700-metre drilling program at its Tibooburra Gold Project in New South Wales, clearing the way for drilling at the Clone prospect from November.
The program will target a northern extension of high-grade mineralisation. Novo has also met the minimum expenditure requirement to exercise its option to earn a 70% interest in six exploration licences with Manhattan Gold.
Janus Electric is set to receive a A$2 million strategic investment from North American battery manufacturer Electrovaya through a share placement.
The investment builds on the companies' existing battery supply agreement, with Janus also placing initial battery orders worth around A$37.5 million to support its North American truck orders.
Pilbara Gold has extended gold mineralisation well below its 2.1-million-ounce Mt York resource in Western Australia, supporting the potential for further resource growth ahead of a pre-feasibility study planned for the first half of 2027.
The company ended September with around A$17.75 million in cash to fund drilling and feasibility work.
