Companies have figured out how to get chatbots to trash their competitors for them. And, um, it's companies are getting AI chatbots to smear their competitors. Have you have you asked AI an opinion on something and like, do you take it for what it's worth?

The way that I read this is, and there's a marketing company out there that actually helps train financial advisors on how essentially to utilize these chatbot responses to their advantage because think about this. If everybody's moving, and we saw this with Alphabet's earnings last week, away from Google Search and into these chatbots to get answers to their questions,

are you actually getting picked up in those searches? And I think a lot of companies, a lot of financial advisors, whatever your business line is, are realizing that they're not optimized to be picked up in these searches. So I almost looked at it as like, we should be able to to align our messaging, our value proposition, our service so the chatbot can find us. But to your point, if it's coming from a negative perspective that you're using it to trash the competition, or the message itself is just feeding you whatever you want it to feed, that becomes more of an ad than an actual like intellectual search.

Right. You know, I passed the CFA on all levels the first time, but I failed ethics on every single level. So it's all right. So I'm definitely not the right person to be probably talking about this subject matter because, you know, I'm I'm it's a dog eat dog world out there and I'm doing anything to, you know, to increase market share. But at the end of the day, I think, you know, the mentality, we all want to be altruistic here. And I think a lot of our consumers and any businesses that we're in are kind of the same. And so I think if you go down that path of, you know, bashing your peers out there, it might be a bad look on yourself, which ultimately hurts yourself.

Right. Yeah. I mean, again, another analogy, but like if if you get in a divorce, the worst thing you can do is trash your partner, even if they deserve to be trashed, right? Like just the the optics of it, right? Yeah.

We we had a story today that went up that was similar to this talking about like these Gen Z co-founders who are working with like ultra rich clients to help their reputation with with these chatbots. And I think, look, in a lot of ways it's very similar. We've all heard of SEO, they call this GEO. Um I forget what but it's about like kind of optimizing these chatbot returns. I think where the issue for me is, if I search someone's name in Google, ultimately like you'll get the AI overview, but you're also going to get all those links. If you go in a chatbot, yeah, they will provide the sources, but it's going to be a lot less discreet and it's going to be a lot more conversational that's going to feel like this, you know, hopefully most people know not to trust everything that comes out of their chatbot's mouth, but they don't and they just kind of a lot of times take it verbatim.
