How much is a Dish TV package?
Dish customers will find a number of different tiers of plan to choose from, with packages costing more the more channels they include. Not including promotional prices, the cheapest plan - the Flex Pack, which comes with 50 channels including Hallmark, TNT and Comedy Central - costs $72.99, whilst the most expensive (the America's Everything Pack) has over 315 channels such as MGM+ and HBO and comes in at $152.99.
You can also extend lower tier packages via add-ons, which are select bundles of channels for an additional monthly cost. For example, Dish offers its News Pack (which includes MSNBC, CNBC, FOX News and FOX Business) for an extra $10 a month, whilst parents might prefer to opt for the Kids Pack, which includes the Disney Channel, Boomerang and Nick Junior for another $10 a month. Bear in mind that packages such as the America's Everything Pack usually include many of these channels already, so you'll likely only want to consider them on the lower tiers.
Will the price of my Dish plan rise after the first year?
No. Dish is proud to stand apart from many other TV subscription services by offering a 2-year price guarantee on its plans. The price you get when you first sign up will remain the price you pay throughout the full 24 months of your plan, so you won't be blindsided by any surprise increases halfway through.
Does my Dish plan include free installation?
Absolutely. Everyone new to Dish can book an installation completely free once they've confirmed their order. Your technician will set up satellite in up to six rooms, plus a voice-based Google Assistant, and set up all hardware and software (yes, that includes remotes) at no extra cost. All in all, Dish usually charges $199 for this service (although you may be charged additional fees if custom requests or complex cases are deemed outside of standard installation).
What is Dish Anywhere?
Dish Anywhere is the brand's app and is available for Apple and Android and lets you watch and manage TV on the go. You can download the app free through the Apple App or Google Play store to stream live and on-demand, plus you can also connect your DVR (as long as it's connected to the internet and Sling-enabled) to manage recordings. Just sign in to or create an account to get started.

Dish runs a number of promotions throughout the year, particularly around big holidays and events, with offers worth up to $300. Keep an eye out around Black Friday, Cyber Monday, the start of each season and other major holidays - we've previously seen the likes of free gift cards, free premium channel bundles, or monthly discounts on selected plans up for grabs.
Free Stars and Stripes Package
The Stars and Stripes package is a premium channel bundle that usually costs $240 and includes channels such as American Heroes Channel, Smithsonian Channel, and STARZ Encore Westerns. Dish includes this free for any first responders and members of the US military (active or retired) who confirm their status when ordering selected 2-year plans. What's more, you'll also get a couple of extra freebies, including a movie to rent every month, an upgrade to a Hopper DVR, and additional premium channels during the first 3 months of your plan.
Free Heartland Package
The Heartland Pack is another premium channel bundle valued at $144 per year that includes channels like the Game Show Network, Discovery Family, and the Hallmark Channel. Goods news for anyone working in healthcare or as a teacher - verify your status before you order a 2-year plan and you'll get this thrown in completely free, as well as a free movie to rent every month.
Refer a friend
Know someone who'd like Dish's TV packages? You can refer them to the network to earn them and yourself reward points. Simply sign in to your account to get a unique referral link and send it to your friend. When they purchase a TV plan through the link, you'll both get 100 points once they activate their service. Points can be redeemed to take money off your bills (up to $50 ), get a free Amazon Echo, or rent movies.
Save as a senior
There is also a senior discount on offer if you're older than 55. Confirm your age before purchasing a selected plan and you'll also get Dish Protect Plus (the brand's identity theft protection service) for six months, a free movie to rent each month, and the option to book a technician to visit and keep your devices set up and up-to-date every year.
