Sam's Club raises membership prices while boosting Plus rewards cap to $750 a year

Sam's Club members will see a $10 increase in their annual membership price starting next month.

Starting May 1, members will pay $60 annually, up $10 from the club's previous yearly membership price.

Plus memberships also will increase, from $110 to $120.

"We have adjusted our membership pricing to support the things our members love," Walmart said in an emailed statement. "We will continue to provide innovative, tech-driven tools and a curated assortment of the best national brands and Member's Mark items, while also giving members greater flexibility to shop how they want with expanded in-club hours, Curbside Pickup and enhanced delivery options, reinforcing Sam's Club's value promise of exceptional products and service and an elevated shopping experience."

With the change, Plus members will be able to earn up to $750 per year in Sam's Cash rewards on eligible purchases, up from the previous $500 annual limit.

The price increase will take effect for existing members during their next billing cycle.
