Bettinardi Offers First Premium Junior Putter Line

In a company first, Bettinardi has created a line of three premium putters, specifically designed for junior golfers.

Golf has never been more popular across a larger range of age groups, including junior golfers, which is why the market for clubs specifically designed for juniors has never had more options.

But what about putters?

Bettinardi believed there was a better way for juniors to find the right fit and set out to make it a reality by creating their new junior series putters.

In the growing junior golf market, most kids' putters seem like an afterthought. Many brands only offer one head shape at best, and they're cast overseas. The Junior Series is made the same way we make our Tour-level putters, with multiple head shapes, premium materials, and precision milling right here in the USA."

What The Line Has To Offer

Just like you would find in the BB or Antidote line, the new Junior series offers multiple models to help young golfers find the right fit for stroke and alignment. The options include three models, all named after one of the family's three children.

The LB1 utilizes the iconic BB1 shape and profile with the initials referencing Luciana. The DB1 mallet is named after Dominic and offers the classic BB49 mallet profile to add aditional forgiveness. Finally, the MB1 is based on the Antidote SB2 and nameds after Matteo.

But its just just about offering classic shapes and calling it a day.

The line has been fully engineered to work for junior golfers who will be playing them at shorter lengths (starting at 26"), and rather than being heavy, which is where most people might assume the weight would go - the putters are actually lighter to help balance out the feel and provide better feedback and control.

I've seen what a properly weighted putter does for a young player firsthand with my son Matteo, who's been successfully rolling the MB1. Putting became much more enjoyable for him with a properly weighted putter in his hands. He was able to feel the difference in control and consistency almost instantly
