The Best Labor Day Kitchen Deals on Le Creuset, Staub, and More

As we approach the long weekend, the Labor Day sales are up and running. Here, I've curated the best of the best in my area of expertise: the kitchen. I scrolled through many sites, both those for direct-to-consumer brands like Made In and Misen, which have a lot of great stainless-steel cookware marked down, as well as retailers like Williams Sonoma, which offer a wide range of items. There, I found good deals on classics, like Staub baking dishes marked down more than 60 percent, a couple of styles of on-sale Le Creuset Dutch ovens, and a set of two Global knives for only $100. For the dining room, there's also a lot of nice tableware on sale this year, including Fable's simple and timeless sets, a seconds sale from one of my very favorite ceramic brands, and some of Crate & Barrel's perfect white plates . Caraway's Labor Day sale features marked-down bundles. If you want to go really hard, the brand is throwing in a free Baking Sheet Duo when you spend more than $675. But if you don't need quite so much, I've rounded up smaller bundles below.

While there are marked-down tools and cookware, the best deals to be found at Crate & Barrel's Labor Day sale are in its tableware section. I've long said the brand's white plates are some of the nicest-looking and most durable you can buy, so I pulled some of those, plus a few bonus pieces, all of which are at least 20 percent off.

Field Company makes gorgeous cast-iron cookware, currently 20 percent off through Tuesday, September 8, or in the case of bundles, an additional 20 percent off what they're already marked down to. Though cheaper models will certainly get you by, I do think there's something to be said for investing in an especially high-quality piece .

I first heard about Haand through chef, baker, and cookbook author Claire Saffitz, who has much of the the brand's plateware. Since then, I've collected some of my own serving pieces and gifted them to others in my life, too. Though this isn't explicitly for Labor Day, Haand is hosting its Seconds Sale through the weekend, with up to 45 percent off select ceramics. The pieces have minor inconsistencies or imperfections — but are only more charming for it.

Most singular items at Made In are around 15 percent off (nothing crazy, but like with Fellow, not bad if you've had your eye on something for a while). The Dutch oven below — marked down 33 percent — is a very notable exception. Sets are more discounted, so I picked out a couple of those too.

You'll find up to 20 percent off sitewide at Misen. The items on the higher end of that percentage are mostly sets with various pieces of cookware and tools, as well as the brand's new Misenware food-storage container line. Some of my personal favorite things are 14 percent off — not amazing, discount-wise, but I've included them here because I think they're worthwhile pieces to add to your kitchen. One note: I priced the bottom three pieces of cookware as their middle sizes, but each comes comes smaller and bigger.
