The Best New Peak Design Releases of 2026 (So Far)

Originally a camera gear brand, this Bay Area outfit has become a giant in travel and EDC with its bags, accessories, and more.

Three close-up images of hands interacting with different objects: a hand holding a glass table edge with a brown backpack strap, a hand holding a blue carabiner attached to a braided rope, and a hand placing a tablet into a green backpack.

There was a time when Kickstarter was the end-all, be-all of crowdfunding. But even then, brands that emerged from the foray rarely had true sticking power. Peak Design is one of the few that has bucked the trend, remaining relevant and even excelling well beyond its humble beginnings.

It helps that the brand, which started as a camera gear proprietor, was willing to expand into other logical territories, namely travel and EDC bags and accessories. It also helps that the brand continues to evolve its existing catalog, turning fan favorites into even better, more refined offerings.
