Most of the time, you probably need a watch that's going to work well and look good, something that tells time and doesn't get in the way. Sometimes, though, you want something bigger and bolder, a timepiece that makes a real statement. Of all of the Invicta watches out there, we think we've found the one that best fits that description, and we found it with a huge discount.
The Invicta Men's 47mm Racing Chronograph Watch is $125 at ShopHQ right now, 82% off its original $695 MSRP, though it has been priced more recently at $269. Either way, this is a huge discount befitting a watch that is the definition of horological maximalism — an information-packed dial; gold, black, and silver coloring; layers that make it feel more than flat; and a big, thick case.

This watch features a large circular brass dial and bezel set into a sort of curved square shape, adding a sense of depth to the timepiece. It's made of goldtone stainless steel that contrasts sharply with the black silicone strap and primary crown button. The other two crown buttons, along with the six screws around the bezel, are silvertone stainless steel. The dial itself is appropriately busy, with three subdials, art deco-influenced hands and numbers, a date window, and a prominent Invicta logo. The whole thing is powered by a Japanese-made quartz movement and water resistant up to 100 meters.

A watch as eye-catching as the Invicta Men's 47mm Racing Chronograph Watch normally costs a lot more than $125. It's decidedly not for everybody, but if you're ready for a timepiece that truly goes all out, a watch that's not afraid to be big and bold, then you're not going to find a better watch (or a better deal) than this.
