The Oscar-winning director has been a fan of the New York City eyewear brand for more than a decade, but last year Jonze had a problem: Some of his favorite Warby Parker styles had been discontinued. So, the Being John Malcovitch director reached out to Warby Parker with a request to collaborate. The result? A Spike Jonze x Warby Parker reissue collection featuring four of Jonze's favorite archival styles.

All of the Spike Jonze x Warby Parker styles are now available to shop at WarbyParker.com , but stock is limited, so you'll want to act fast.

The collection includes the Percey in Rose Crystal with Riesling, which debuted in Sept. 2018; the Begley in Magnolia Green, first released in Nov. 2020; the Locke in Layered Cacao Crystal, which came out in Dec. 2021; and the Yoojin in Brioche Tortoise with Riesling, which was released in Dec. 2022. Pricing ranges from $95 to $175.

Each pair of frames comes with a short letter from Jonze and fluorescent stickers to help organize your frame cases. They also feature "director's commentary" where Jonze explains why he likes each style. Of the Yoojin style, for example, Jonze writes, "I was really excited when I saw these because I felt so sophisticated when I put them on. They seemed like an anomaly to me, like I had found a little gem."

As part of the collection's launch, Warby Parker and Jonze tapped designer Humberto Leon to shoot five of the director's friends wearing the reissued frames and clothing from Jonze's own closet. These friends include skater and artist Jerry Hsu, model Jane Moseley, filmmakers Skylar-Bree Takyi and Henry Zumbrunnen, and Humberto's mother, Wendy.
