And though Jannik Sinner and his Gucci duffle are not at the final Grand Slam of the year, other players are taking up the luxury accessories mantle.

Generally, things remain unruffled and not dirty—unless they're rolling around in the clay," Sunita Kumar Nair, author of ACE: The Times & Style of Tennis , told T&C . "There's a huge opportunity for brands to enable the athletes and not only benefit from the star element that these athletes engenders, but also the athletes also benefit because they get to portray who they are on court. It'll be more and more of a stage as time goes on."
