The biggest appeal of Flint and Tinder's new Dry Wax Field Jacket is where it sits in the overall outerwear market today.
Specifically, it fills a gap in the market that's been poorly addressed for years: between the classic British hunting aesthetic of a Barbour and the more wearable, everyday-friendly dry-wax canvas that Filson has made iconic.

At $328, this coat costs significantly less than similarly styled Barbour icons like the classic Bedale, which retails for $425. The head-to-head price comparison to Filson is also favorable, though not as dramatic. Filson's Dry Wax Mile Market Coat retails for $399.
