Jennie’s Preppy Off-Duty Fit Comes Equipped With Two Playful Prints

As one of the most famous pop stars in the world, Jennie knows what it's like to be photographed all the time. However, while we've gotten a taste of the Blackpink member's style on runways , red carpets , and even through her personal Instagram account , it's not as often that we get to admire her street style. So, it was a treat when she was spotted out in New York City over the weekend, putting her off-duty fashion on full display.

Friday evening, the former Harper's Bazaar cover star kept it preppy as she stepped out in the SoHo neighborhood, sporting a classic navy blue crewneck from Polo Ralph Lauren, with a red embroidered logo adding a subtle color contrast.

The "Mantra" singer layered the sweater over a white tee before adding a couple of prints for a playful twist.

First, she sported a pair of vintage black-and-white striped jeans from Jean Paul Gaultier, which came in a low-rise silhouette with a foldover waist and zip-up closure. Then, she added another maximalist touch with a spotted Chanel 25 chain-handle bag from the Métiers d'Art collection by Matthieu Blazy (she is the "Human Chanel" after all, so it's no surprise when she slips in a piece from the storied French fashion house).

Finally, she grounded the look with a couple of jet-black accessories, including a pair of thin sunglasses and some gathered flats from Phoebe Philo. She also slipped on some dainty rings for a finishing touch.

It just goes to show that Jennie's style truly never misses.
