Your Baby’s First Lambo Is a $5,000 Limited-Edition Stroller

When I was growing up, my parents carted my sister and me around on an old metal Radio Flyer with two children's chairs in it, duct-taped back to back. Now, your children can be pushed around in an Italian-performance-inspired stroller.

Check out the Reef AL Giallo , a limited-edition collaboration between British nursery brand Silver Cross and Lamborghini, with just 500 units available worldwide. It may be a little extravagant, but that's, well, the point. With its limited production run and premium materials, this stroller is aimed at parents who appreciate exclusivity and don't mind paying for it.

So what makes it a super stroller? The carrycot, or bassinet, has a glossy, angular polycarbonate shell designed to resemble a Lamborghini hood. Since babies are born ready for the fast lane.

The stroller also includes a reversible seat made with bamboo fabrics and suede, along with embroidered Lamborghini-inspired detailing . It can accommodate a child weighing up to nearly 50 pounds. A genuine leather bumper bar or, as I like to call it, "the child containment unit," has embossed Lamborghini badging into the leather itself.

The automotive inspiration continues with a matte-black chassis, bright Giallo yellow accents, exposed suspension springs, and large lockable wheels designed for multiple surfaces. There's even an "automotive brake pedal," which sounds fancy but is, in practical terms, a foot-operated stroller brake, the kind found on plenty of regular strollers.

Still, this isn't a stroller for bargain hunters. With suede, leather, Lamborghini yellow, and only 500 units available worldwide, it's aimed at parents who like supercars, can afford supercars, and want their baby to look extra cool. The price is $4,999.99, so the "can afford" part is doing a lot of work here.

The Giallo follows an earlier viral release of the Silver Cross Arancio, another limited-edition $5,000 stroller, this one in Lambo's exclusive orange paint, called Arancio Borealis.
