When it comes time to build LEGO sets in my house, the person most likely to sit down and build them is not my 10-year-old daughter—it's my husband. (My daughter likes playing with the sets once he's finished building them.)

I know I'm not the only one living with an AFOL—an Adult Fan of LEGO. For all the other AFOLs out there, these are the best LEGO sets for adults. Many of these are sets with fan-favorite pop-culture characters, like those from Star Wars, Pokémon, or '80s movies. Others are from the Botanicals line, which lets builders tap into their inner flower-arrangers, and the Ideas line, which come conceptualized by fans. Some have even earned the Good Housekeeping Seal, which means they've gone through rigorous testing . The big sets can be pricey, but all the more reason to use rewards points to score free LEGO sets .

The only question left to answer: Where will these sets go when they're all assembled?
