LEGO drops Harry Potter Ministry of Magic set with 14 minifigures
Witches, wizards and Muggles who love Harry Potter and LEGO alike have reason to celebrate following the launch of the new LEGO Harry Potter Ministry of Magic Collectors' Edition . The three-level recreation of the Wizarding World landmark is LEGO's largest Ministry of Magic set yet, with 3,491 pieces and 14 minifigures.
The LEGO Harry Potter Ministry of Magic Collectors' Edition set costs $450 and comes as part of LEGO's annual Back to Hogwarts celebration. LEGO Insiders were able to purchase the set ahead of its public launch beginning Aug. 29, and joining only requires signing up for a free account.

The LEGO Harry Potter Ministry of Magic Collectors' Edition includes 3,491 pieces, three levels and 14 minifigures.

Designed for adults, set No. 76476 measures more than 20 inches tall, 13.5 inches wide and 6 inches deep when completed. Its cross-section design begins on the streets of London before descending into the Ministry's offices, Atrium and Hall of Prophecy.
The build includes a red telephone box with a rotating mechanism that lowers minifigures into the Ministry. There is also a second entrance through a restroom fireplace and an internal lift connecting the different floors.
Fans can build detailed recreations of Arthur Weasley's office, Dolores Umbridge's pink office, the courtroom, the Atrium fountain, the Hall of Prophecy and the Veil. The scenes draw from "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

LEGO Insiders who purchase the set through Sept. 6 can receive a LEGO Harry Potter Ministry of Magic Phone Booth gift with purchase while supplies last. The set order also meets the spending requirements for two additional Harry Potter gifts advertised during the Back to Hogwarts event, subject to availability.
The Collectors' Edition arrives as LEGO celebrates the 25th anniversary of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." It is available exclusively through LEGO stores and the company's website.
