Measuring over nine inches tall once it has been fully constructed, the Lego R2-D2 is equipped with a 360-degree rotating head, detachable third leg for mobility, an attachable periscope, and optional tools that can easily be attached to its chassis. Like several other figures from Lego, you'll get an information plaque and a stand decorated with the LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary symbol, plus a few minifigures.

There's a tiny R2-D2 minifigure to pose alongside the droid, as well as a Darth Malak minifigure to add some Dark Side energy to the Star Wars diorama piece. The size makes this figure nice for a desktop display, but it'll look right at home on a shelf or a mantle with other Star Wars collectibles. The Lego design also works really well with R2-D2, as not only do the pieces perfectly match the droid's colors and shape, but the studs also do a great job of replicating the finer mechanical details, like loose wires and greeblies.

You can also score a deal on several other Lego sets right now. The Lego Optimus Prime has been a firm favorite with fans since it launched, as it can easily transform between vehicle and robot modes, and for $153 (was $180), you're getting a 15% discount on the Autobot leader. Lord of the Rings fans can also decorate their bookshelf with the Lego Icons The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook Kit ($109, was $130), and Lego's 613-piece model of Luxo Jr. and the Pixar Ball is a great tribute to the legendary animation studio. Don't forget, you can also get $20 in Amazon credit when you purchase select Lego sets , but the special won't be around for much longer.
