Day seven of Browns training camp, and this one certainly went to Deshaun Watson as far as the quarterback battle is concerned.

I think objectively, there's a case to be made that this was the best practice Deshaun has ever had in a Cleveland Browns uniform, and it was because he was doing it at all three levels.

This-- The practice opened up real quick into a eleven on eleven 'cause it was only a ninety-minute session today, and at all three levels of the defense, Deshaun was making plays.

He looked like he was finally comfortable in the pocket, finally seeing things clearly, and finally making the throws was the biggest thing, is that he never really consistently been able to do that.

He had a really good strong seven on seven in the red zone, some other good work in the red zone, and finished the practice with some so-- some quality throws at-- with some end of game settings.

Shador was more up and down today, I will say.

I think there was some better progress made on some of the procedural stuff.

They, they drew a couple false or offsides, I should say, from the, from the defensive line.

But still some moments where Todd Monken was getting on that second unit and on certain players, including Shador, about making sure things are being executed properly when you get up to the line of scrimmage.

Also, Dylan Gabriel taking some, some more reps with the twos than we've seen to this point.

So he continues to factor in here in terms of maybe fighting for that second string, that backup quarterback job.

I don't think he's really a factor in the starting quarterback job, obviously, but he continues to stack some quality days and had a really good red zone session of his own.

The other big story from Thursday is just that the injuries and guys not practicing continues to become a lengthy, lengthy list.

Guys like Elton Jenkins, Tyson Campbell were out there but not practicing.

Carson Swessinger still remains out.

Mason Graham remained out.

You saw a lot of Luke Whippler taking snaps at center because, well, even Parker Brailsford, the rookie, was dealing with some bungs-- bumps and bruises.

It's kind of normal this time of year, but certainly hope that those don't become anything too serious and that the list doesn't grow any longer because the Browns are dealing with some depth issues at some key spots here as training camp continues.
