Day sixteen of Browns training camp has come and gone, and the Cleveland Browns kept things pretty quick on Wednesday.

A shorter practice, just ninety minutes, and really just in helmet and shorts today as they got some decent work in and got off the field, even stayed off the main practice fields in anticipation for that joint practice with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.

Still plenty to take in, though, and notably, the quarterback play still has n- nothing has really jumped off the page with these, these two signal callers in Shedor Sanders and Deshaun Watson.

Continues to just kind of be this methodical process that nobody's really taken a, a true running away lead in, but I think should-- by, by default, Deshaun continues to have that lead.

He had a rough day, though, of practice, tossed two interceptions on the day.

The one silver lining, he was able to execute nicely an end of game under two minutes, one minute and twenty seconds left on the clock, down two s- drive that ended with a field goal to theoretically win the game.

Shedor was having similar success executing that drive, but saw it stall short after a procedural penalty.

Didn't have everybody lined up when he snapped the ball for a spike, and so it was a ten-second runoff, and therefore the game was over.

But the rest of practice for Shedor, I thought he had a lot of the better throws, made some crisp ones.

There was a nice red zone session where he threw a couple touchdowns.

So from that standpoint, I think he was better than Deshaun, but still nothing necessarily to write home about.

The other thing that just stood out is the number of guys that Tom Munken was kind of preserving for tomorrow's joint practice, which is expected to be more physical and certainly be an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to, A, sorting out the quarterback competition, but also figuring out guys in the roster bubble, who's gonna make the team, all those different things.

Denzel Ward wasn't doing teamwork, Jared Verse wasn't doing teamwork, others were sort of rotating in and out, so clearly some preservation going on by Tom Munken as they get ready for the Bills who are coming to town on Thursday.

And we'll be here to cover it for you, one of the most important practices of this entire training camp period.
