At the very least too, like, out of the 14 hits, two home runs, five extra base hits total.
Need more of that, right?
Yeah.
And I think even, like, from passing the eye test, you saw a number of guys hit the ball hard tonight, and I know that sounds like you know, the lowest bar possible to clear to get back to it, but frankly, that's where we've been at offensively.
Like, not only in the first inning of games, but with runners in scoring position, from the power department, from the slug department.
I mean, guys just really aren't squaring with the baseball.
I feel like everyone got some pretty good swings out there.
Guys that desperately needed it too as well, 'cause their season was just completely spiraling in the wrong direction.
I mean, yeah, you mentioned Dansby earlier.
Like, he's still hitting under 200, but he raised his batting average, like, 15 points tonight, right?
So, like, at the very least, right?
Yeah.
He can, he can walk home.
You know, he can go home tonight, or go back to the hotel, excuse me, wake up tomorrow and at least feel like, "I'm building on something right now."
Like, Seiya getting a base hit, building on something.
PCA hitting a laser off the wall, building on something right now.
Like, Bregman getting a double, Bregman getting a double, building on something.
Like, baby steps, and it is just one game, but again, this is something that needs to build and build and build.
And hopefully over the course of four, five, six games, you keep building on this, and then you're kinda back to where you were before, and that's when you can start playing good baseball, winning series, and maybe get more winning streaks going.
It's not gonna happen right away.
We got Skeens tomorrow, right?
But the, a lot of good signs tonight, and it was a long time coming.
