Armstrong Elementary Capital Project
Information about the Renovations
The Armstrong Elementary School Renovation Project was identified according to the 2008 Renovation Queue, approved by the FCSB in 2009. Armstrong Elementary School is number 49 of 63 schools in the queue. Planning and Design for this project were funded by the 2021 School Bond Referendum, with construction funded by the 2023 School Bond Referendum. The completed project will provide renovations to existing spaces and updates to all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The project will also add approximately 27,000 square feet to the building, including new administrative offices and a new library addition. Notable among numerous site improvements are updates to the bus loop and a Kiss & Ride extension, playgrounds and outdoor classroom space.
