Information about the Renovations
The Bren Mar Park Elementary School Renovation Project was identified according to the 2008 Renovation Queue, approved by FSCB in 2009. Bren Mar Park Elementary School is ranked 46 of 63 schools in the queue. Planning and Design for this project was funded by the 2021 School Bond Referendum, with construction funded by the 2023 School Bond Referendum. The completed project will provide renovations to all existing spaces and updates to all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The project will also add 65,601 square feet to the building with a two-story addition that includes new classrooms, a new cafeteria, new kitchen, and a library addition. Notable site improvements include the addition of a bus-loop. enhancement of Kiss & Ride drop-off, extension of school parking, new playgrounds, and paved play areas.
