ee.Geometry.type

  • The type() method returns the GeoJSON type of a geometry as a string.

  • The method is applied to a Geometry object.

  • Examples are provided in both JavaScript and Python demonstrating how to use the type() method.

Returns the GeoJSON type of the geometry.
