Now we were out for a really good
meal. Months ago we had learned to
read a menu from right to left ; and
whatever it said on the menu of the
hotel dining-room, which was fastened
inside the elevastor, it was too much.
We discovered an eating place opposite
the hotel called “Cafeteria.” The prices
were very reasonable, and the people who owned it were Chinese and very friendly. There we assembled three times a day.
