　4月開催予定だったニューヨークEXPO 2020は、世界中を覆ったCOVID-19感染拡大のロックダウンによって中止（延期）になった。この展覧会出品作に付したサマリーに私は次のように書いた。

　「私はここ数年間、智慧の実としてのリンゴをモチーフにして、人種、民族、宗教、性差を超えた世界共生のための新しい哲学を、闘争的ではない優しいイメージによって追求している。」
　そのような私の意志を表明するために、次から次へとイメージを追い求めて発表してきた。

　・・・高位宗教者が知を独占する。あるいは王が知を独占する。このようにして支配ー被支配の社会構造を制度化してゆくのは、何も古代や中世の話ではない。

　女性が教育の機会を奪われ、その機会を獲得したとしても性差を社会構造化している社会において侮蔑的な不利益を被らされている。経済格差が教育の機会均等を無効にし、知の獲得から脱落させられた人々は、生まれたときから死ぬまで、塵埃と汚泥にまみれて這いずらなければならない。
　あるいは困難な世界を知性によってより良い方向に再構築するよりも、情念の赴くままに互いに罵りあい、傷つけあい、果ては取り返しがつかない暴力を繰り広げる。そのような状態を含み笑いで面白がっている人間がいることも知らずに。あるいは、そのような高見の見物者が、暴力的な事態を焚き付けていることも知らずに。・・・それは、まさに現代の状況である。

　「智慧の実」を食べましょう！・・・これが私の作品のテーマだ。

At 2:15 pm, the work I drew was completed. It was
a small piece, but it was a 16-day job. I changed the
theme with the intention of putting one break in the
series of works. Therefore, it took a little longer time.
The next theme returns to the primary theme.

The New York EXPO 2020 scheduled to be held in
April was canceled (postponed) due to the lockdown
of the spread of COVID-19 infection that covered the
world, In the summary attached to this exhibition, I
wrote:

"For the past few years, I have been pursuing a new
philosophy for world symbiosis that transcends race,
folk, religion, and gender, with a gentle, non-com-
petitive image, using the apple as the Fruit of Wisdom
as a motif."
In order to express my will, I have pursued images
one after another and published.

The principle of the governing structure provision-
ally entrusted to the myths of Adam and Eve, who
were exiled from paradise because they ate the "fruit
of wisdom," is expressed in the source of "民 (peo-
ple)" in the Kanji cultural sphere. In other words,
hieroglyph, "民”, who mean people or a nation, are
people who have been blind because they have
pierced their "目 (eye)" with a "槍 (spear)." It stabs
people's eyes with spears, obsucures things, and
rules them. (Due to possible misunderstandings,
I'm not talking about people who are visually
impaired in reality)
... High religion monopolize knowledge. Or the
king monopolizes the knowledge. It is not the
story of ancient times or the Middle Ages that
institutionalizes the rule-controlled social struc-
ture in this way.

Women are deprived of educational opportuni-
ties, and even if they are seized, they are con-
temptibly disadvantaged in a society in which
gender differences are socially structured.
Economic disparities nullify equality of oppor-
tunity in education, and people who have fallen
out of wisdom have to crawl in dust and sludge
from birth to death.
Rather than rebuilding a difficult world in a
better way with intelligence, they swear, hurt,
and irrevocably violate each other according to
their emotions. Even without knowing that there
are people who are chackling and entertaining,
Including such situations. Or, without knowing
that such a high-profile spectator is burning a
violent situation. ... That is exactly the situation
today.

Let's eat "The Fruit of Wisdom"! ... This is the
theme of my work.
