This is eighth album of Sing Like Talking.There was a music critic who compared this album with The Beatles' "Revolver" -"Revolver" is followed by "Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".S.L.T's next and ninth album is "Welcome to Another World"; it would be up to each listener's imagination whether this album could be compared with "Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", though.From the very opening, two songs are showing their determination."Subarashii yumeno nakade"(in dreaming great future) is a song expressing that in dreaming something in the future, it's more important to think why than what."Keeps Me Runnin'" starts with a phrase saying that we must not complain that everyday is boring because there is a goal we want to reach.According to Chikuzen Satou:Back then, members' interests in music changed after they recorded the previous album "Togetherness".And from the time they recorded "Togetherness", they had tried to approach not from standpoints of "pops" but the essentials of music, which was a "thorny path" for them.Because: They always want what they think they are good and they want to create as musicians to be in accord."Burnin' Love" is popular at their live concerts. Sometimes they have audience sing the part "Hey, hey, hey", sometimes band members other than percussionists and drummers play the percussion.Latter half of this album consists of andante songs.After they made a release of this album, they performed at Nippon Budoukan for the first time, where is regarded as a shrine to pop music in Japan and the place where the Beatles performed at, too.(Translation: Unable-to-think-up-handle)August 2, 1995 FHCF-2241When I went to London for semester abroad, I brought a ballad collection of S.L.T.A song in the ballad collection "Kokoro no tobira", which is originally included in this album "Discovery" was favorably received among classmates and teachers, with a praise "What a lovely voice he has!"There was a problem, though -if I translate the title literally, it's "door of heart", which is incomprehensible.So I introduced this song with translation of my own "Open your mind" which is unofficial yet, although I reported to Chikuzen later by contributing to his regular radio program.After I returned to Japan, I introduced some albums of S.L.T. to international friends with letters.When I set up this weblog in May 2006, I thought up placing those English introductions. 01.自分の部屋→　多分、日記・記録簿類各種とパソコン、パソコン用メガネ、鉛筆削り、時計（トラベルクロックだったが、アラームが鳴らなくなり、今は卓上で活躍）トラベルクロックといえば十代半ばの頃、「折り畳んだ時の見た目が懐中時計のようなカッコいいトラベルクロック」を雑誌か何かの通販ページで見て、欲しくてたまらなかったことがあったが、親に言い出せず（決して、レアもののビンテージや高級ブランド品ではない）　―どんな商品名で載ってたっけ？今も売ってるのかな？　　―と思って楽天市場でざっと探したが、それらしき物はなく02.ロッカー→　ない。職場に置いている私物なら、予備のハンカチとティッシュとマスク、自分用のシャチハタ印、小型の爪切り、電子辞書、マグカップと箸・お茶っ葉03.ペンケース→　必ず入っている物は、シャープペンシルと鉛筆1本ずつ、修正液、5色ボールペン、黒ボールペン、消しゴム、ボールペン用消しゴム、短い定規04.ポーチ→　バッグインバッグに必ず入れている物は、鍵、財布、ハンカチ、ティッシュ、ケータイ/スマホ、カードケース、定期入れ、櫛、のどあめ05.カバン→　上記のバッグインバッグ丸ごとと手帳（ペン付き）、マスクケース、後述の携帯薬はどこへ行くときも最低限いつも入っている。通勤用ならパソコン用メガネ、メイクポーチも06.お風呂→　使い慣れた洗顔石鹸、タオル（スパや温泉にも、ボディソープやシャンプーが設置してあっても洗顔石鹸は持参）07.旅行（プライベート・娯楽）→　使い慣れた化粧品やケア用品を小分けにしてまとめた、いわば自作トラベルセットを用意している。あと、眼鏡ケース、トラベルパジャマ（ホテルの浴衣や寝巻が好きではないため）　―とはいえ…後述のとおり、連休があっても日曜日は礼拝が最優先のため、2019年中は結局新婚旅行に行かずじまいで今年こそは、と思っていたらCOVID-19蔓延でそれどころではなくなってしまった。結婚後、どっかに泊りがけで出かけたのは、新型コロナウイルスが上陸して間もなかった頃に仙台で"後から思えばまさにギリギリ滑り込みセーフ"で実施だった従妹の結婚式のみ。昨年の懸案事項だった、秋田と東京の親戚にご挨拶していなかったことは、昨秋に従妹の結婚の連絡があった時に"現実問題として秋田より仙台の方が行きやすいし、祝事で親戚一同が集うのはまたとない機会だから、結婚式には夫も一緒に"とお願いして夫婦で出席した際に実現したので…最近、今ならGoToトラベルがあるからお得に新婚旅行に行ってきたら？とそそのかしてきた者がいたが、もはや"今更新婚旅行？ GoToだか何だか知らんが、元々優先度が低いようだからもう考えることじゃない"08.旅行（仕事関連）→　おそらく上に同じ。ただし、社会人になって就職後、半月ほど研修で本社に行かされていたが、それ以降機会なし09.デート→　夫と出かけることが一番多いのは日曜礼拝なので…自前の聖書は重いけど持参して、讃美歌集は教会で借りていた。しかし、ご多聞に漏れず夫の教会でも3月から一切の礼拝や集会が中止、3月最終日曜日から分散礼拝と称したオンライン礼拝に。夏に集合礼拝が再開後は聖書・讃美歌の貸出が禁止となり、拝読する聖書の御言葉と讃美歌は全てプリントアウトして配布となったので…クリアファイル位か。あと季節によるが水分補給のための水筒10.お買い物→　どこに何を買いに行くかによるが、ポイントカードなどがあるならそれ＋財布＋買い物リスト。2020年7月以降は買い物袋も11.散歩→　季節によるが帽子もしくは日傘、上着（夏でも日よけのために着用）12.最後に、上記のものからいくでも構いません必ずないと困るものを載せてください！→　多分、万一に備えて喘息の吸入薬。今は、小さな布ポーチを作って、小型のマスク消毒用アルコールスプレー・ハンドジェルと一緒にひとまとめにしている。お盆休みや今回のシルバーウィーク中などに旧本家の農作業の手伝いに行くことはあっても、感染対策万全でも旅行はちょっと…というのは、既述のとおり、季節性の軽症にとどまっているとはいえ喘息・すなわち呼吸器疾患があるためでございます、へい13.次、誰に回す？→元々07.は「旅行」・08.は「遠足（修学旅行）」でしたが、当方の独断で社会人向けの設問に変更いたしました。さて52万アクセス目の読者様は誰でしょう！？＜バトン設問持ち帰り＞ http://24.xmbs.jp/batontime-11837-br_res.php?no=68756&action=res&page=r3&guid=on

大変お待たせいたしました。　《Day 1》　　本文中敬称略【2020年9月5日 19：00～　羽田エンターテイメントスタジオより生配信】開始まで1分を切り、再びセッティングの早回し映像→メンバーのテロップSING LIKE TALKING…佐藤竹善、藤田千章、西村智彦バンドメンバー…　ドラム：加藤久幸　ベース：河野充生　ギター：金澤健太　ピアノ・キーボード：中島徹　コーラス・パーカッション：露崎春女今回は全員スタンバイ1. 眩暈2. My Desire　～TOTOの「ロザーナ」の有名なフレーズを織り込むにあたって"Tribute to Joe Porcaro！"3. Finally"わずか1週間後にDay 2"1週間に2本ライブというのも今は珍しいかも。だが"こんな機会をいただけてありがたい"前回見られなかった人もいるかもしれないので、何曲かダブるかも→先週は意外と楽しかった…客がいないなりに、テレビ放送みたい＋竹善は普段、ライブでは客席を向いて歌うが、実はミュージシャンが演奏している姿を見るのが好きなので"今回は思う存分みられる"＋前回分かった改善点も…たとえばチャットが流れるのが早すぎて読めないので、流れていかないコメント（つまり、「次へ」を押さない限り改ページしない）の機能も用意"良かったら8888888…"今日は東京は大雨。"雨に気を付けていただきながら1時間半ごゆっくりとお楽しみください"→"こんな時期だからこそのメッセージ"4. 生まれた理由お客さんがいないのは同じなのに"ホールとスタジオでは全然違う"金澤のお父さんが先週見ていた話。有名なジャズベーシストなのだが、"しかし父は何も言わない""河野君の周りはどうでしたか？" でっかいテレビにつないで観た人がたくさんいた話実は竹善はいまだにアナログテレビにチューナーを付けて使っている→大正～昭和の雰囲気。「ア」がカタカナなのがミソ"「スター誕生」もスタアだった""「スター誕生」自体が分かる人の方が少ない"服部克久さんが他界…"今日は服部先生に捧げつつお送りしてみようかな"5. サアカスの馬作曲者の西村が最近聞いた少し昔のテレビドラマのサントラが素晴らしくて"その雰囲気で書きたかった。内容は結構エグイんですけどね"竹善ウィスパー"ついついこういう声で喋りたくなる雰囲気ですね"→"この曲も久方ぶり" 最近時々演奏しているが…4枚目のアルバムの、シングルでもなんでもない曲だが、最近のお気に入り6. 願いを込めて7. 6月の青い空中島ソロ…口笛とユニゾンも交えて…"素晴らしかったです" このまま終わってもいい雰囲気…"ですが、先週に引き続き拘束してしまいました"大儀見元登場"先週やらなかったこの曲からですね"8. Together9. Rise→元のソロコーナー →"もう1人のスペシャルゲスト" 7年ぶりに共演"セネガルから呼び戻してしまいました" ママドゥ・ロー登場2人のバトル　→10. La La Laコーダの手前に全員で"We will save it"のコーラス応援グッズのタンバリンをツアーグッズの非接触ドアオープナーで叩く竹善"今日また新しい「La La La」が生まれた"リアルのライブも早くやりたいが、配信は遠方・あるいは病院に入院中などで足を運べない人も観られる良さがあり、通常のライブとは別でまた出来たらと思う＋ 360度撮影なのでカメラマンがチラチラ映っているが"スタッフに拍手" チャットに7777777…と書き込むことを要求"最後にこの曲を"中島と竹善、ポジションを交代11. Spirit of Love→メンバー紹介"どうもありがとうございました～また次回"Day2はスタジオでセットを組んでの演奏、竹善さんも後日ラジオで"テレビの音楽番組の生放送でシンガー兼司会を務めているようだった"と語っていたとおり、最初からスタジオで「ミュージックフェア」（結婚・転居以来、テレビは未だにコンセントすら挿しておらずリビングで置物状態のまま、今は観ていないですけど）のような感じになるだろうと想像がついていたのか、あるいは2回目でこちら観る側もSLTサイドも慣れたのか、正直、今回の方が配信ライブとして"なじんでいる"ような気がしました。何より… 初めてSLTのライブに行った頃、"SING LIKE TALKINGのライブは、素晴らしい歌に素晴らしい演奏のフルコースという贅沢な空間"という旨の評論を何かで読んだことが頭に浮かび、（ツアーパンフだったか専門寄りの音楽雑誌か）　この度の2度の配信ライブでは、リアルライブと違う形でそのことを再確認しました。　　当時、年齢的にも比較的早かったであろう頃からそんなアーティストのライブに触れていたとはなんと幸運な…（といっても今は親子で行く方々も珍しくないですけど）今回もステージ上にある物は各メンバーの楽器や機材だけで、照明が凝っている程度で、奇をてらったセットなどはなく、あるのはその場で紡ぎ出される音楽と歌―あと気心知れたミュージシャン達の会話が示す絆でした。COVID-19の蔓延のためツアーをやめて配信ライブに切り替えざるを得なかったことを新たな可能性の開拓につなげたSLTですが、竹善さん達のご希望どおりリアルライブもできるように、特効薬やワクチンの一刻も早い完成と普及を願う―と、いうことに帰結しますな、やはり夫は「My Desire」がジェフ・ポーカロに捧げた曲だったこととデビューライブにジェフが参加していたことでSLTにも興味を持ってくれたため、「My Desire」に「ロザーナ」のリフを織り込む演出にうるっと。Day 2のスペシャルゲストは、・今回のバンドメンバーにお名前がなかったSALTさん・"オーソドックスな選曲"でSLTのライブをやるとしたら外される確率が低いはずの「La La La」をDay 1で演奏していない、となると、大儀見元さんと「Luz」のレコーディングメンバーのどちらかだろうか、と想像していたら…かくの如き次第でした。この「La La La」は、私個人にとってはSLTとの出会いの1曲かつ音楽への扉を開いてくれた1曲、かつ"一番重要な1曲は？"と聞かれたら迷わず答える1曲ですが、当時、湾岸戦争の足音がきな臭いことになっていたのを受けて書いて、レコーディングで歌録り中に開戦というエピソードがあり、10年後の2001年には米国同時多発テロ事件、この後のSLTの「Metabolism」ツアーでは竹善さんがピアノ、千章さんがカホーン、西村さんがギターという編成で3人だけで演奏しており、当時は自分もピアノ弾き語りの参考にしていました。　さらに10年後の2011年には東日本大震災、　　そのまた10年弱後の今年2020年にはCOVID-19の世界的な蔓延…―ということを思うと、今回はアーカイブや聞き逃し配信はないとのことだとしても、竹善さんも"新しい「La La La」が誕生"というくらいだし、これだけ配信またはYouTubeのオフィシャルチャンネルか何かに載せてもらいたいですね。DVD化は検討中と9/13のSunday Musical Voiceで聞きましたが…最後に（勝手ながら、チャットに書かなかったため、この場にて）：777777777777777777777777777777…∞！　＋888888888888888888888888888888…∞！

National TV station announced a management rationalization plan including reducing two AM broadcasting channels to one.　The first thing I wondered was what happens to foreign language study programs with high reputation.Now less and less people watch TV, so they should cut down terrestrial TV channels they have two instead of AM radio channels.On the second thought... currently, they don't charge reception fee of the radio, and is it why they are reducing radio channels instead of TV?I just hope they won't say they are charging reception fee on the radio -it's impractical, though.2. Spirit of Loveメンバー紹介"また来週、東京の某スタジオで会いましょう。またね～…モロ生、全部生"本日9月5日に、この配信ライブの「Day 2」が行われることとなっており、このレポは今日の午前中にアップするべく下書きとイラストを用意いたしましたが、ファン友の1人からのメールで、Day 1を観なかったが、みんなに聞いてみて良さそうだったらDay 2を見ようと思っているというので、"彼らにとっても初の試みだし、プロモーション映像でもライブDVDでもないわけだから、違和感はあっても後悔はないと請け合います"とお返事いたしました。この違和感の正体は文章だけで説明するのは難しいですが、確かに千章さんのおっしゃるとおり、拍手がない・ホールでのライブなのに観客との一体感が感じられる場面がないのも一因、それに加えて、音響・マニピュレーター席にスタッフがいる以外は観客のいないホールのステージで円陣で演奏している中、"エネルギーがステージからほとばしるのが感じられず、ステージの内でまとまって籠っている"ように思えたからかもしれません。ツアーをやめて配信ライブにしたのは状況が状況で彼らにとっても苦渋の決定だったでしょうし、数十分で慣れましたけど。その一方で、これまでのライブでは、Cross Your Fingersなど少人数の完全アコースティックのステージは別として、手拍子やライブの興奮それ自体に紛れて聞き落としていた細かい音も聞けること、ミュージシャンたちの手元も見られることなど、今回は従来のSLTのライブにはない楽しみがありました。チャットには開演十数分前に一言書き込みを入れたきり参加しておりません。メモを取りながらライブを楽しむことに専念していたためです。一緒に観ていた夫曰く、ステージにパーカッションセットが置いてあったからスペシャルゲストは大儀見元さんかな、と思っていたら当たった、と。本日のDay 2は竹善さんもツイッターに"広っ！！"と書かれていた"某スタジオ"からの配信、　どんなステージになるのか、そしてスペシャルゲストとはどなたか…　　先週同様、夕食を早く食べてスタンバイします。ワクワクそういえば今春の緊急事態宣言下で、竹善さんの「Sunday Musical Voice」が一時毎週、ご自宅から生演奏付きの生放送で、"もう、しょうがねえな、と開き直っている""せっかくだから今ならではのできることを"という旨のことを語っていたことも思い出しました。竹善さんの前向きさに救われて見習いたいと思ったのは私だけではないはず。今回、ツアーが発表された時は"えっ、できるの？実施するにしても密接回避のためにチケット販売枚数が大幅に減らされそうだ"と真っ先に思ったのが正直なところでした。その後、2度の無観客配信ライブに切り替えたのは、夏の感染再拡大を思えば賢明な決定だっただけでなく、新しい形のエンターテイメントに挑戦という、これまた今春のような"今だから・今ならでは"という前向きさ、というか2020年代に向けた歩みだと思います。―今回のイラストですか？最新曲「生まれた理由」を竹善さんの「アンダンテ」で聞いた時の第一印象は"「Vox Humana」をポップにしたような感じ"、翌週にラジオで2度目を聞いた時に思い浮かんだイメージを書き起こしたものです。（色鉛筆でグラデーションを出すのは難しい）この人間の動作次第で情景は変わってしまうので、仕草や動きを極力感じさせないように・また男性か女性かも分からないように納めたものの、シチュエーションはこれまたご想像にお任せします＋木と人間のシルエットを塗りつぶしたところで"「Encounter」の裏表紙の、夕焼けをバックにSLTの3人がシルエットのように映っている画像に似ているかも"と気付きましたが…そのまま最後まで仕上げたのはお目こぼしを。

　　I prepared this manuscript for today, because tomorrow is one year before the final day of postponed Paralympic game.Although Panjandrums are still itching to hold Olympic game on schedule,It's not the matter of just our country, and there is no predicting how things will unfold,　So I must refrain from saying this way and that.　　Instead, while I wait and see, as a memorandum, let me look back and line up good things that Olympic invitation have brought to our country.(In random order)1.
