Befriend / Sing Like Talking
This is their 25th anniversary album and a compilation of their 25-year career, and a new starting point of their next 25-year.During their period of solo works, each member became able to work on most part of recordings at home.From 2010s, their works show that the songs and sound are created by three of them, except for rhythm, strings and horns.This illustration is by Chiaki Fujita.Two years ago, they came back together again after each of their solo works for seven years.But just before they made a release of the former album "Empowerment", there was a massive earthquake disaster.From this experience, they decided that there are a lot of things they can do with music.In that summer, they distributed a charity song "Luz" recorded with percussionists from Senegal.Later, this song was included in the next album "Befriend".From this year, they perform this song at series of open-air summer concerts "Jonetsu Tairiku" every year.And according to them, when they wrote "Human", a Celtic pop song, they had an imagination to have audience sing together at concerts."Empowerment" was an introspective album, but in contrast, this album "Befriend" has extrovert energy -except for "Forget-Me-Nots"."Empowerment" had atmosphere to reflect to each of ourselves as a person and respond to hardship like earthquake disaster as reality.On the other hand, "Befriend" expresses determination to make new steps forward together."Befriend" is a word used in "Rakuen" (paradise built of enthusiasm): To become a friend of somebody, especially somebody who needs your help. (cf. Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary)I guess that this song expresses where they hope to go. Both in positive and negative way, since 3.11 earthquake disaster, people have thought about "kizuna" (bonds) again.Since they began to record their 25th anniversary album "Befriend", they hope all the people have more and more happy time, supporting each other.About two weeks after the new DVD of their 25th anniversary concert was on sale, Chikuzen Satou introduced a comment by a playwright who dealt with a popular morning serial drama that made a big hit until this September:Refraining from laughter is anything but eulogy; or it would mean we must not show bright faces throughout the year.We should laugh and smile, cry, feel pleasure and sadness, and live full lives for perished people.From the point of the flow of the times, both "Empowerment" and "Befriend" look like predestined albums.Incidentally; this album starts with an energetic funk song "The Great Escape" and a bright pop-rock song "89banmeno seiza" (89th constellation) follows.Besides, the total time is 46 minutes -a compact album.So I think this is suitable to start a day in the morning.Today is 25th anniversary of S.L.T's professional career.And this year, members are 50 years old.Then, by simple calculation, half of their lives are their career, and they are twice as old as when they made a debut!June 5, 2013 Universal Music UPCH-1930(Translation: Unable-to-think-up-handle)◇：Ready to place translation if asked

My favorite musician has announced that he is minimizing the use of the major microblog service from October; just for announcements of concerts, radio programs, renewal of his weblog and necessary information.He explains the reason that he is consolidating the social network service so that he can use his daily time better. I think he is the one who has used this microblog wisely, but it's a wise choice.-Me? As I declare on the front page of this weblog, I don't use the microblog.Now I lost a reason to dabble in this microblog to follow this musician -I don't mind.Gradually more and more big-names resign from microblog to get free from stress, use their time better, and for various other reasons.On the other hand, my favorite pianist used to have a weblog, not to last long.But recently, he started microblog, and now seems to enjoy it.I suppose it's easier to post short sentences diligently than to post long organized sentences.Well...so many people, so many minds.Anyway, the main story:As reported and as you know, in this summer, there were idiots one after another who show off photos of idiotic acts on microblog, ending up in facing a barrage of criticism, getting fired by their places of employment, and even forcing their place of employment close down.As I was concerned when I decided not to dabble in microblog, posting short sentences is easy and convenient, but at the same time, rough and lacks consideration.The problem is NOT microblog, but the lack of morals, needless to say.There are people who confuse self-assertion with show-off.And there are people with wrong sense of justice who reprimand them just to enjoy sense of superiority.Those people drive public to make microblog scapegoat, and make some discreet people decide not to dabble in microblog,-Although I understand that as well as fire and water, this microblog may be good servants, but bad masters.As I was grappling with this composition, I saw a study report that microblog can be a sinkhole for fury.Also, I recalled of a journalist who used tact and put out a message about the location and situation by microblog when this journalist was abducted by armed group in a Middle-Eastern country.It was when a massive earthquake destroyed vast area of eastern Japan when I felt a good effect of microblog for the first time:The musician I mentioned at the opening and his manager were stranded at the stricken area, and many fans were concerned.He posted to the microblog that they were safe, and I was relieved to read this first.As for me, I'm fine just reading my favorite musicians' microblogs and microblogs used as trustworthy information source.To put out, weblog is enough, which I type with deliberation.In short, I insist that even when we post short sentences on microblog, we must straighten up.I've heard that there are people who oppose that short sentences on microblog written deliberately are not interesting,-But in group of people who think so, people with wrong sense of justice who are looking for something to denounce to enjoy sense of superiority must be included, I feel like suspecting.-Me? ありがちバトン（体育祭・運動会編）
○…ある（あった）、×…ない（なかった）、△…忘れた・入退場の練習を何回もさせられる→ ○・クラスの応援歌に流行りの曲が選ばれる→ ○ 替え歌にしたり…小学生の時は紅白対抗しかなかった。・雨で延期…と思ったら突然晴れて決行→ △・校長が挨拶で「皆の思いが通じたのか、素晴らしい青空が～」とか言う→ △・生徒代表の「宣誓!」を「先生!」だと思っていた→ ○ 小学校低学年の時・部活対抗リレーで剣道部は剣道着を着て走る→ 中学校では部活対抗リレーは一時あったが剣道部がなかった。高校では剣道部はあったが部活対抗リレーがなかった。・実況者がリレーで「○組抜きました。×組、頑張ってください」と棒読みする→ △・リレーの競技に先生が出場、めっちゃ早い→ ×・熱中症で生徒が倒れる→ ×・組体操又はソーラン節を踊る→ ○ 組体操は小学校6年、ソーラン節は小学校4年・本番前で急にトイレに行きたくなる→ ×・体育祭前日はうんざりするくらい念入りに練習→ △・玉入れで玉が恐ろしいほど飛び交う、がなかなか入らない→ ○ そんなもんです・飛び交いすぎて自分が投げたのが入ったかどうか分からない→ ○・綱引きを引く前から綱を持つ手に力が入る→ ○・体育祭が終わった後の後片付けがめんどくさい→ ○以上です・一番盛り上がる競技等ありますか？→ おそらく小学校4年でやった「棒引き」赤と白半々に塗った棒を数十本、グラウンドの中央に並べておく。スタートの合図で赤組・白組が両サイドから一斉に走り出し、赤組と白組数人ずつが両陣営に引っ張っていく。どちらかに引きずっていったら、手の空いた人はまだ引っ張り合っているところに助っ人に回る。当然終盤には、残った数本の棒に大勢が取りついて、大変なことに…―で、父が当時勤めていた会社でこの年のレクリェーション委員の一人だったそうで、会社の運動会の種目にと提案し、採用されたとかいう後日談。それを父に連れられて観に行ったのが ―今思えばバブルを体感した数少ない経験だったかも ―というと多分、世代がばれる・騎馬戦はある？ない？→ 小学校6年の時。ただ、"ザ・騎馬ゲーム"とかいう名前だった記憶がある昔は男子だけという学校があったとも聞くが、私達の学校では、憶えている限りずっと6年生が男女共やっていた（競技は男女別）・アンカー、フリー可です2020年の東京オリンピック・パラリンピック開催決定の喜びを一通りかみしめたあたりで、このバトンでございました。（ややこじつけ）自分に関することのみ言うと、当初から（というか厳密には1年前あたりから）基本的に、"「スポーツを通した世界の結束に貢献するためのオリンピック開催」という、ある種前向きな目標に取り組むことで、日本にとっても発展と向上につながるのであれば東京オリンピック招致に賛成、 単に景気づけの経済効果・ステータス目当てとか、この国で楽しみたいだけなら反対" ―という考えで、今もあまり変わっていません。白状すると、一時は前向きに選ばれない展開も予想したものですが―蓋を開けたらこの予想は大外れだったみたいです。目下、懸念事項がざっと分けてもう2つ―1つは、"東京に決まらないと分からないこと"なので、今この時点ではどうなるか分からないとしても、もう1つは―いざ東京に決まったとなった今、7年後に本当の意味で東日本大震災の被災地が復興への道をしっかり歩んでいることをはじめとして、社会全体が向上していないと、世界に顔向けできないだけでなく、オリンピックバブルという展開が待っているのではないか（経済的に、ということではなく、オリンピック後の目標が見つからず社会全体が無気力になるほうを懸念）―ともあれ、長引く不況やらなんやらで社会全体が後ろ向きの沈滞ムードだったのが変わりつつあるのは確かでしょうから、オリンピックへの関心以上にこちらのほうを維持してもらいたいものです。果たして…まあ―8日早朝は、2日ほど前からの風邪で朝10時まで眠りこけていて、歴史的瞬間は完全に見逃しましたが。―以上、備忘録代わりといたしまして、失礼いたします。 おまけ＜バトン持ち帰り＞http://fblg.jp/baton/show?id=8697

Surely I don't -but this is not the reason:In short, not only personal information who used the fee-based service, but also the contents of postings leaked; then, if the users posted embarrassing things and slanders enjoying anonymity, the posters can be revealed.The mechanism of the leaks aside...Like other cases of information leaks, if e-mail address and credit-card information are made bad use of, it's a serious problem, so proper measure must be taken for that.On the other hand, if the users enjoyed exchanging slanders and came to light, what they had done rebounded on themselves -that's all, and as for this, sympathy is meaningless.In the first place, various security threats including virus and spyware infections due to this web page in question have been nothing new.I hear this web page in question is usually filled with slander and abusing. Q1普段主にどんなメディアからニュースを得ますか？大体、ラジオとインターネットが一番多いかと思うQ2最近一番衝撃的だったニュースは？・おそらく、福知山の花火大会のガソリン爆発事故有名な神社仏閣の初詣シーズンや重要な行事の時に、住宅街にも屋台が立ち並んで人でごった返す―という場所なら数か所見たことはあるが、もしそういう場所で（火災に限らず）事故が起こったらと思うだけで恐ろしい。・埼玉・栃木の竜巻9月2日、SOURCEのライブを観に遠征した日の昼間は東京スカイツリーに行っていた。 雲の状態や天気などの条件が良ければ西の方向に富士山が見えるはず。 しかし、東京は晴れていたものの、南西～北の地平線が雲だらけで見えず。（展望回廊下りエレベーターに乗る少し前なので、おそらく北西方向。左にご注目）それから2時間も経たないうちにそんなことになるとは知る由もなく… （知ったのは、目黒駅前のコンビニ近くの電光掲示板のニュース速報が第一報） ―後から思えば、スカイツリーから見た光景の中に、前触れと言えるものがあったかどうかは―はっきりは分からないが・カネボウの白斑化粧品 私自身は幸か不幸か合成洗剤アレルギーで化粧品に関しても慎重にならざるを得ず、手を出したことはなかったとはいえ、 "事無かれ主義"の社内体制が大問題を招いた例なら他にもあったのに、学ばない人達だな。Q3最近一番嬉しかったニュースは？・2020年のオリンピック・パラリンピックの東京開催決定 ―と、ここで書かないと怒られますね ―あ、特に緊急のことがない限り、この次（の日本語セクションの時）にゆっくりと・「ビッグイシュー」日本版が今年で創刊10周年 ―とテレビで紹介があったこと。この雑誌に好きなアーティストのインタビューが載っていたのを、大阪市内某所の販売スタンドで偶然見かけて買ったときにこの雑誌のことを知り、そのアーティストのオフィシャルサイトで公表されていないようだったので、この雑誌の社会的意義を考えたらもっと知られてもいいと思ってファン仲間数人にメールしたことがあった。Q4最近一番頭にきた・悲しかったニュースは？・福島第一原発の汚染水漏れ―の対応の遅さ・あとは別に今に始まった話ではありません故ここでは、自分達の精神衛生のために、もっと前向きなことに時間とエネルギーを使ったらどう、とだけ申し上げさせていただくにとどめるQ5最近身近に起こった事で、聞いてほしいニュースは？・・2か所で買い物をして、喫茶店でランチをした日の夜、その日の収支を家計簿に記入しようと財布を見たら、小銭入れに"アメリカの25セント玉"―という珍事件。その日の朝は確かに日本のお金しかその財布には入っていなかったぞ…むー、謎だどこかの店でお釣りの百円玉と間違えて渡されたのだろうが…Q6お気に入りのメディアなどあれば、紹介してください。特に朝は"ながら聞き"が利くラジオ、いいですよ。（ちなみにこの辺ではNHK第一放送「ラジオ朝一番」が一番問題なく入る。また、ほぼニュースに特化しているため、朝はいつもこれ）―と言いたいところですが、ラジオだと交通・気象関連の臨時ニュースが入ると中断するとか、耳慣れない人名地名固有名詞・世界情勢などは文字情報・視覚情報（地図など）がないと分かりにくい、気象情報はテレビで天気図やアイコンを見たほうが一目瞭然、という側面はあります…さてQ7お疲れ様でした。最後に、回す人を指名して下さい。 ついでにスカイツリーでの写真を適当に ＜バトン持ち帰り＞ http://blog.fc2.com/baton/9037/

N.Y.C【アンコール】 12.（？）SOURCEを知ったのは正式には2009年の「SAX TRIANGLE」のとき。しかし、1997年に初めてSING LIKE TALKINGのライブに行ったとき、初代SOURCEから小池修さんと小林正弘さんが参加しておりました。それで、SAX TRIANGLEのライブでSOURCEの名前を聞いたとき、ピンと来たわけです。昨年、ライブがあったときは名古屋でも公演がありましたが、関西ではライブがなく、今回こちらから行ってしまった―というよりは正確に言うと、9月3連休のブッチャー浅野さん7回忌追悼ライブのチケットをダメ元で1日分だけでも狙ってみたものの結局取れず、この時に同じブルースアレイジャパンでSOURCEのライブがあると知って、この機会に代わりに…というわけです。今年はSLTのデビュー25周年、関連のあるバンドのライブに初めて行けたので、これも私にとっては"原点回帰"の一環かもしれません。―で、この度、3代目SOURCEの新メンバー・コモブチさんを、思いがけず柏木広樹さんのライブで先にお見かけしました。前回と今回、何だか対照的なステージです。今回は新しい曲が全体の3分の1強。早く名前を付けて、レコーディングにもこぎつけてほしいです。私みたいに地方で待っているファンのためにも、「SOURCE 3」（これまでの2枚のアルバムが「SOURCE」「SOURCE 2」なので、このタイトルになるのかも）のリリースや、地方でのライブが叶いますように。…おっと、イラストがめっちゃでっかくなってしまいました。先月パソコンを新しくしたところで、スキャナや画像編集機能の使い方にまだ手間取っています。すみません。また、トップページ5つ中4つの日記が長文日記になったので、一時的に省略表示に設定いたしております。

1. There are a lot of smoking scenes in the animation movie about an aircraft designer and his star-crossed lover, and some people regard this as questionable.To tell the truth, I also felt that the main character was an insensitive man to smoke in front of a lady suffering from respiratory disease-But it's from the point of the current view.On the second thought, the story is set in before World War II when smokers lit cigarettes anywhere and everywhere.And at least until about twenty or thirty years ago, smoking was regarded to be a proof of cool adults, wasn't it?A few of my favorite musicians and bands have been on scene for more than thirty years.For a decade or so after they made their debut, music described as "fashionable, cool and sophisticated" was popular among music fans.Some of their songs were used for commercials for tobacco, which was one of the statuses for musicians and composers.-It was before I gained ear for music, so I learned this from a specialized magazine after I became a fan of a bassist from one of those bands.But with the lapse of time, things have changed, and now smoking is nuisance, harmful, selfish behavior, and uncool.This is the truth, but some smokers still stick to old-fashioned illusion that smoking is a proof of cool adults.I'd just like to ask all the smokers who watched this animation movie to reflect on their manner of smoking-Although it's up to each of them whether they keep or stop smoking, of course.Superfluously... just ten years ago, I got psychotic depression due to the workplace back then.When I talked to the branch manager about this problem -the problem wasn't solved by this-, the branch manager was smoking in front of me.That was one of the reasons I felt distrust and decided to quit.-Just for a memorandum before my memory at that time fades completely.2. The host city of 2020 Olympic Game is decided in a few days, so before it's too late:Wherever the host country is, I'd just like to wish that they are hosting a good Olympic game.-Does it sound like someone else's affair, while I live in one of the candidate countries? Sorry.Somehow I feel that the host city might not be selected positively this time.Anyway... my thoughts about Olympic invitation hasn't changed.So I'd just like to question what our country wants to invite Olympic for.3. Recently, I hear that a writer and a professor from neighboring peninsular country was refused entry to the home country.This writer, who is now naturalized citizen in our country, has revealed various delusive thoughts in the writer's home country inhibiting friendship between our country.So the authority regarded the writer as harmful elements.This writer was indignant that such treat with courtesy was inappropriate as a modern nation.On the other hand, more than twenty years ago, the government of our country ostracized and dismissed a director of Health and Welfare Ministry and a psychoanalysis doctor who conveyed the bare true figure of bureaucrats to overseas.Both turn a deaf ear to unfavorable things, -so do many people.Incidentally, since I'm writing it with this language, let me take this opportunity to write-I'd like to ask the deputy press secretary of the country trying to go for another millitary action who deliberately ignored a question from a reporter whether using atomic bombs was against the international law:I have NO intention of blaming on your reaction; simply because I'm NOT the right person and I'm not even sure how I had tried to answer if I were in your shoes,But just ask yourself how you thought about this question.Basically, I avoid using proper nouns on English section except for "Favorite, recommendations", and even avoid identifying the gender as much as possible.So excuse me for roundabout expressions.◆：Ready to place summery if asked

Heart to Heart7.（？）8.（？）"恵まれてると思います、ボク"素晴らしいメンバーとプレイできて、こんなに反応してくれて"たまらんバイです"→天野が9/25にニューアルバムをリリース今回はカバーアルバム。"日本の昔の歌…「竹田の子守唄」とかスペインとか…色々入ってる"「デジャブ」シリーズの新盤で、柏木も参加SALTのソロライブ告知→"今日のためにピアノを入れてくれた"みんなと音楽を楽しみたいということで、チラシの中に譜面を入れている"今からちょっと練習を"―で、誰が歌の合図を？ という話になって…"緊張ばかりでしたが楽しいひと時をありがとうございました"9. musicasa【アンコール】柏木とSALT登場→屋久島の縄文杉に会いに行った思い出話でしばし盛り上がり…柏木が縄文杉に会いに行った際に山道を歩いていて思い浮かんだという曲10. 大地を繋ぐ樹の下で―そういえばSALTさんと柏木さんってステージでは共演したことがなかったんでしたっけ？今回ライブに行けてよかったです。SALTさんにも感謝です。今回はSALTさんの曲が違った形で聞けたのもよかったです。柏木さんの優しい面が現れた曲がたくさんあったように思いました。竹善さんのツイッターによく出てくる"カシワギ早起き"の由来が、柏木さんが朝早起きして一仕事することからとは、昨年末まで知らず。もし竹善さんが柏木さんを見習って早起きしてウォーキングをするようになった結果、スッキリとスマートになられたのでしたら、柏木さんにも感謝すべきでしょうね ―とヘンなところに食いついてすみません。あと今回、ベースがSOURCEにも参加しているコモブチキイチロウさん。なかなか地方に来てくれないのに業を煮やして、"プチ夏休み"と称して9月2日のSOURCEのライブを観に上京・遠征することを8月頭に決めており、楽しみになったのは―言うまでもない。

Again: Time cannot wait
Late afternoon of the very day after I placed last month's serial 10-line, an Earthquake Early Warning rang from all the cell-phones of people in the office, including mine.But shaking wasn't observed.It turned out to be a false alarm due to failure of observational equipment.To tell the truth, this was the first time I heard an earthquake alert from cell-phone.I remember that there was a pilot transmission once, but I wasn't in the designated area of the test at that time.And when there was a sudden earthquake in the early morning and I had a rude awakening, I didn't hear the earthquake alert, because my cell-phone is switched off automatically from twelve midnight till six in the morning while I'm asleep.Because: In the early 2000s, there were a lot of one-ring phone scam cases, and such calls came even in the midnight.Recently, the weblog provider sends mail magazine in the midnight.My parents said that switched-off cell-phone is useless -now I wonder what to do.Anyway... After this fuss, I was afraid that what if we panic and cause accident or some kinds of trouble when we hear sudden earthquake alert.That's why it's important to know about Earthquake Early Warning.I'd like to think of this false alarm as a drill without notice and an opportunity to think what to do when there is a sudden earthquake alert:At least, it was good to find how Earthquake Early Warning rings.I suppose March 11 will be a disaster drill day in 21st century in our country.But originally, disaster drill day has been September 1st; today is the day of the Great Kanto earthquake just ninety years ago -so I'm placing this diary today.There is a scene of this earthquake in an animation movie about an aircraft designer who had a dream to create beautiful aircrafts and got involved in building famous combat planes due to this dream-Or maybe this movie could be introduced as a bittersweet love story of an aircraft designer and a star-crossed lady.(August 2013)
