群馬大学事件にショックを受けた　I was shocked by Gunma university case

群馬大学は腹腔鏡手術後死亡した８例全てに不適切な問題があったと発表した。その
外科医は、多くの死亡例が出た後もどんどん手術していたことに驚いた。一般の人々
は大学病院は多くの優秀なスタッフを抱え、最新式の設備を備えている最高レベルの
病院だと思っている。患者さんや小さな病院で働いている医師たちは大学病院は一層
進歩的で正確の治療をしてくれるところだと期待している。しかしこのケースを知っ
たら、大学病院を信じることができなくなった。我々は自分のキャリアや名声のため
ではなく患者さんのために働くべきである。私は彼は患者さんのためではなく難しく
て進歩的手術ができるという名声を得たいと思っていたのではないかと想像する。

Gunma university announced that every case of 8 deadly cases after
laparoscopic operation had irrelevant problems. I was surprised to hear
that the surgeon had operated on and on after many deadly cases appeared.
General peoples think the university hospital is the highest level which has
many talented staffs and the newest facilities. Patients or doctors who work
in small hospital expect them more progressive and accurate therapy. But
knowing this case, we couldn't believe the university hospital. We should
work for the patients any times, not for our carrier or fame. I imagined him
wanting to get the fame of difficult and progressive operation not for the
patient.
I was deeply shocked by this case done by the same doctor as us. I thought
