When using your iphone or ipod for photography, there are many apps available to download and work with to help perfect your images. These apps can be used alone or combined together just by saving an image in your album and opening it within another app. The following is a list of "must have" apps used to improve your images and enhance creativity.

Pano :  Pano sells for a $1.99 and is used for panoramic photos, no other software is necessary when using Pano to enhance your images. Options include advanced alignment, color correction and blending. This app allows 360 degree panoramic photos to be saved directly onto your camera roll.

Filterstorm :  Filterstorm is used by more advanced photographers. If it is used alone, it can meet all your photo editing needs. Editing options include color correction, curve manipulation, noise reduction and black and white conversion. These options are available through the layering and masking tools.

ProCamera :  This app sells for $2 and has no limitations. It transforms your iphone camera into a magnificent digital camera, which includes full resolution processing and snapshot options. This app lets you know when you are holding the camera still and allows for a steady, straight shot.

Perfect Photo :   This is probably the easiest photo and best option for Moms who are trying to capture and edit a great picture of their munchkins. It contains all the tools necessary for your photo editing needs and is great for quick and simple manipulations.

TiltShift Generator :   It sells for $.99 and can apply a shallow field of depth to your image. It simply adds a linear blur to your photo from a selected focal point. For example, when taking pictures of the forest, you can select a tree to be your focal point and blur the ones around it. This app also allows you to adjust a photos sharpness, saturation, contrast and brightness.
