Since 1928, Clark's has provided that roadside kitsch to White Mountain travelers. With circus themed shows, trained bears, and a resident Wolfman, this one is not for everyone…to admit enjoyment in. C'mon, you know you want to go!

There is also a perfect amusement for younger children, the 30 minute ride on the White Mountain Central Railroad, which has pleased families for over 50 years. Adults will have fun at Avery's garage, a replica of a 1930s era gas station, with antique cars and vintage memorabilia. There are other small museums to please all tastes.

There are energy absorbing activities for the young ones, such as blaster boats and a rock climbing tower. A Segway tour provides some novel fun. Since 1949, the trained bears have delighted and entertained in their show. Other animals are dispersed in different exhibits throughout the property.

The touristy things abound with photo sessions in vintage costumes, Merlin's Mansion, a magic-themed funhouse, and of course shopping, shopping and more shopping for those souvenirs.

A little dated, a little cheesy but always fun, Clark's Trading Post will not disappoint. Enjoy this guilty pleasure with gusto!
