NH STEM Workshops Announced
STEM Workshops for Teachers & Home Schooling Parents To Begin September 19
LACONIA, NH (9/3/15) Laconia Airport based WinnAero today announced its STEM-oriented teacher workshops for 2015-2016. All the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) workshops are held on Saturdays at the airport, 65 Aviation Drive, Gilford, NH. and are open to educators and home schooling parents statewide. WinnAero Education Director and certified NH teacher, Dan Caron will be conducting all sessions.
A new benefit has been added to this year's workshop schedule. Graduate school credits are available for those enrolled or willing to enroll as students at Plymouth State University and paying for the credit fees. Individual workshop costs are $75 per person ($40 for members of the Civil Air Patrol) but residents or teachers in Meredith, Gilford and Laconia receive a tuition discount thanks to a generous grant from the Samuel P. Pardoe Foundation of Boston.

Winn-Aero is an aviation and aerospace themed non-profit based at the Laconia Airport in Gilford, NH. Its mission is to promote interest in young people in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through aviation and aerospace learning based programs and experiences; and to provide programs and activities to foster enthusiasm for flight in people of all ages and to showcase career opportunities in aeronautics and aerospace.
