- [6/29/17] The New Hampshire Fisher Cats broke out for nine runs on 15 hits to beat the Portland Sea Dogs 9-5 Thursday night at Hadlock Field. Tim Lopes set a new season high with four RBI in the game.Jonathan Davis started the scoring on the second pitch of the game. The Camden, Arkansas native took big league rehabber Eduardo Rodrigues (L, 0-1) deep to left-centerfield for his sixth home run of the season, which gave the 'Cats a `1-0 lead. Richard Urena doubled in the next at-bat, which set up the first of Lopes' four RBI courtesy of a single.Leading 2-1 after one, New Hampshire tacked on four runs in the second. Three consecutive singles - capped by an RBI knock from Matt Dean - started the inning, Urena delivered an RBI groundout and Lopes plated a pair with his second hit of the game to make it 6-1.Staked to an early lead, Jon Harris (3-8) found his groove from the second inning on. The right-hander went seven stanzas, allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits, walked one and struck out five to earn the win.The Fisher Cats scored single runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth, highlighted by Ryan McBroom's ninth home run of the season in the sixth inning. His blast went an estimated 423 feet and left the bat at 112 miles per hour.Portland made it interesting in the ninth with three runs on five hits, but Andrew Case - the third pitcher of the inning - came on to record the final out and secured the 9-5 New Hampshire triumph. ►
