Dune Oil Corp ( CSE:DUNE , OTCQB:DUNXF , FRA:Z620 ) has appointed two technical advisors to support planning for potential well re-entry, completion and production operations on its M47 oil block in southeastern Türkiye.
The company named petroleum engineer Allan Albertson and drilling specialist Dean Casorso to the advisory team.
Their initial focus will be evaluating and planning re-entry and completion programs for the Çetinkaya-1 and Çetinkaya-2 wells, along with strategies for reservoir deliverability and water management.
Albertson brings 34 years of international experience and has managed drilling, completion and well operations in more than 20 countries, including Türkiye and the Zagros Basin.
Casorso has nearly 30 years in oil and gas, serves as president of Calgary-based Fire Creek Resources and spent almost two decades with TotalEnergies managing drilling and completion operations in Canada.
The advisors will review well conditions and available drilling and geological data, then develop recommendations aimed at preserving reservoir productivity while managing risk and cost. Priorities include reservoir protection, well testing and stimulation, and practical well programs with contractor evaluations and preliminary cost estimates.
The M47 block lies in the Cudi-Gabar petroleum province, an onshore oil-producing region.
