Noble Helium Ltd ( ASX:NHE , OTC:NBHEF , FRA:GN1 ) has appointed experienced energy executive David Biggs to its board as executive director. The move strengthens its leadership ahead of the upcoming Kinambo drilling campaign in Tanzania and the integration of its recently acquired Earth Source Hydrogen business in Western Australia.

The appointment, effective October 16, 2026, brings more than 30 years of international energy industry experience to the company as it advances its helium exploration and development strategy in Tanzania's Rukwa Basin and expands its Australian hydrogen interests.

Biggs has held senior leadership positions across multinational resource groups, oil and gas producers and emerging exploration companies, with expertise spanning project development, capital raising, commercial agreements and asset management.

Strengthening leadership ahead of drilling

Biggs previously served as chief executive officer of Earth Source Hydrogen Ltd, which Noble Helium acquired in September 2026, as well as Warrego Energy Ltd and AWE Ltd.

His experience in Western Australia's onshore energy sector is expected to support the integration and advancement of Earth Source Hydrogen's exploration activities.

The appointment also strengthens Noble Helium's commercial and operational capabilities ahead of its planned Kinambo drilling campaign at the North Rukwa Project in Tanzania.

Biggs will contribute to the company's broader Rukwa Basin development strategy, including international gas marketing, potential offtake agreements and corporate financing initiatives.

Noble Helium executive chairman Dennis Donald welcomed the appointment, highlighting Biggs' experience in managing and expanding energy operations.

"David's extensive international energy experience and proven track record in scaling global operations will be invaluable as we advance our world-class helium assets in the Rukwa Basin and the newly acquired Earth Source Hydrogen Limited," Donald said.

North Rukwa Project central to growth strategy

The North Rukwa Project in Tanzania remains central to Noble Helium's strategy to establish a new source of helium supply outside traditional producing regions.

Located within the East African Rift System, the project is being advanced as a potential source of helium for global markets, with the upcoming drilling campaign representing an important next step in its development.

Biggs said he was joining the company at a pivotal stage, with drilling approaching and opportunities emerging from the Earth Source Hydrogen acquisition.

"I am looking forward to delivering the potential of Noble's assets to create value for all our stakeholders," he said.

Noble Helium completes Earth Source Hydrogen acquisition

Noble Helium completed its acquisition of Earth Source Hydrogen Ltd on September 30, expanding its Australian exploration portfolio with more than 40,000 square kilometres of prospective helium and hydrogen acreage in Western Australia.

The transaction received unanimous support from Earth Source Hydrogen shareholders, with 100% accepting the acquisition and all conditions precedent now satisfied.

The acquisition adds three Special Prospecting Authority areas in Western Australia's Southern Carnarvon Basin, comprising SPA-47 AO, SPA-44 AO and SPA/AO-0145.

The areas extend across the Yilgarn Craton and western sedimentary basins, giving Noble Helium exclusive rights to apply for exploration licences over the prospective acreage.

The acquisition strengthens Noble Helium's position in Australia's emerging natural hydrogen and helium exploration sector while complementing its existing North Rukwa helium exploration and development activities in Tanzania.
