Investing.com -- Wind turbine maker Nordex said on Monday its third-quarter order intake rose 29.5% year-on-year to 2.8 gigawatts, led by demand in Turkey, Germany and the United States.
Orders in the company's projects segment, which excludes service business, totalled 2,810 megawatts in the quarter, against 2,170 megawatts a year earlier. Nordex said the rise was primarily driven by project scope and regional mix effects, while pricing remained stable.
Order intake for the first nine months of 2026 reached 7,733 megawatts, up 16.1% from 6,661 megawatts in the same period of 2025.

The average sales price per megawatt of capacity was €0.90 million in the third quarter, against €0.93 million a year earlier. For the nine months, it was €0.93 million per megawatt, against €0.92 million in the same period of 2025.
Between July and September, customers ordered a total of 427 wind turbines for projects in 10 countries. Turkey, Germany and the United States were the strongest individual markets.
"Our order intake is becoming more globally diversified, and the third quarter confirms this," Nordex Chief Executive José Luis Blanco said. "Türkiye led with more than 900 MW, and in the US we have now booked more than 1.3 GW year to date."
Blanco said the company expects the international share of orders "to keep growing as we convert our pipeline in the coming quarters, while order momentum in Europe and Germany remains strong."
