Pantheon Resources PLC (AIM:PANR, OTCQX:PTHRF) has appointed Alaska energy veteran David Wilkins as chief executive with immediate effect, putting a director with more than four decades of industry experience in charge as the company advances its Kodiak and Ahpun projects and farm-out discussions.
Wilkins, who joined Pantheon's board in March, succeeds Max Easley, who is leaving to take a senior executive position with a large operator in Alaska. Easley will remain with Pantheon for a period to ensure continuity during the handover.
Wilkins previously held senior roles at Hilcorp Alaska, Marathon Oil and Dowell Schlumberger, spanning exploration, production, drilling, operations and asset development.
