Standard Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:STND, OTCQB:STTDF, FRA:9SU0) has completed its largest drill program at the Davidson River project in Saskatchewan's southwest Athabasca Basin, returning the highest radioactivity recorded on the property to date.

Standard Uranium drilled 6,734 metres across 12 holes along the Warrior, Bronco and Thunderbird corridors, targeting high-grade, basement-hosted uranium mineralization on the same structural trends that host NexGen's Arrow and Paladin's Triple R deposits.

Three drill holes intersected anomalous radioactivity above 300 counts per second totalling 5 metres, hosted in altered fault zones and veined rock units with all corridors still open along strike, while infrared analysis confirmed dravitic clay alteration in hole DR-26-040 on the Bronco corridor.

"This program has returned the highest radioactivity recorded to date on the project and more than doubled the known width of the Thunderbird and Bronco structural corridors," said Sean Hillacre, president and vice president of exploration.

"We have intersected our most prospective rocks yet, with strong hydrothermal alteration including sericite and dravitic clays, linked to widespread structural disturbance. The perfect geological environment for basement-hosted uranium mineralization."

Several priority uranium targets remain along more than 60 kilometers of untested strike length, and additional exploration programs are being planned.
