Futura Medical PLC (AIM:FUM, OTC:FAMDF, FRA:GYX), the consumer healthcare company behind erectile dysfunction gel Eroxon, reported positive results from an additional Eroxon Intense home user test ahead of a planned launch in the first half of 2027.
The test involved 115 men aged 18 to 59, most with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction. It assessed an optimised product presentation designed to support more consistent dispensing and application, using a study design broadly identical to the previous test.
On the clinically validated International Index of Erectile Function's erectile function domain (IIEF-EF), participants recorded a 7.86-point improvement from baseline, compared with 4.82 points in the previous Intense study.
Futura said this exceeded the threshold generally regarded as clinically meaningful. Among men with moderate erectile dysfunction, 87% achieved a clinically meaningful improvement, against 73% previously.
User-reported outcomes also improved: participants were satisfied with erection hardness in 82% of sexual encounters, compared with 71% for the original Intense presentation and 70% for current Eroxon.
Erections lasted long enough for intercourse in 87% of encounters, against 85% and 84% respectively in the previous study.
Overall user satisfaction and purchase intent also increased compared with the previous study of the original Intense presentation.
