The bank said its checks indicate the leading U.S. humanoid robot maker "may ramp weekly humanoid robot production almost 10x to ~1,500 units in Oct 2026," with weekly output potentially rising to 2,000 to 2,500 by early 2027 and 8,000 by the end of 2027.

Its 2027 annual production estimate was unchanged at around 100,000 to 200,000 units, and it said the company may host one or two product launch events in the coming months.

"We see positive implications for relevant humanoid robot component suppliers," Citi wrote, naming Hengli Hydraulic, Shuanghuan Drive and Leader Drive.

For Hengli Hydraulic, the bank said orders from the U.S. customer could extend beyond planetary roller screws to linear guides and electric drives, with initial shipments potentially double the volume required given the client's low assembly yield rate.

The bank estimates that humanoid components could represent 1% of Hengli's revenue in 2026 and 8% in 2027.

Citi said Shuanghuan Drive, already close to the U.S. customer on electric vehicles, has a chance to supply high-torque reducers for the waist or hip joint.

For Leader Drive, it said the maker's share at the leading U.S. robot maker remains unclear, but management sees ample harmonic reducer orders from Chinese humanoid firms and some U.S. players such as Figure AI and Apptronik.
