Shenzhen Adtek Technology has filed for an initial public offering in Hong Kong, adding another AI-infrastructure-linked name to a market already seeing stronger demand for Chinese data center and optical connectivity listings. The company, which provides optical connectivity products for data centers, networks and telecommunications operators, submitted documents to the Hong Kong stock exchange on Friday, confirming an earlier Bloomberg News report. Citic Securities and Jefferies Financial Group ( NYSE:JEF ) are acting as joint sponsors on the potential share sale, giving investors another signal that Hong Kong's IPO pipeline is continuing to attract companies tied to the buildout of AI and data center infrastructure.
The possible deal could be meaningful if the reported terms hold. Adtek may look to raise $500 million or more at a valuation of $3 billion to $4 billion, according to people familiar with the matter, although the final value, size and timing have not been set. That leaves room for change, but the broader market setup is important: Chinese optical shares have rallied recently as investors price in the possibility that AI-driven demand could fuel the next stage of industry gains. Lightelligence surged 384% in its trading debut last month after raising $323 million through its IPO, while Semight Instruments jumped 876% in its Shanghai debut, with the source also noting a 950% rally in Shanghai IPO trading.
For investors, Adtek's filing lands at a moment when Hong Kong's first-time share sale market has already raised more than $20 billion so far this year and is on track to exceed the four-year high of about $37 billion recorded in 2025. Founded in 2007, Adtek was named a National High-Tech Enterprise nine years later, according to its website, and also operates a factory in Vietnam. The filing could become another test of whether AI infrastructure demand can keep supporting investor appetite for optical connectivity names, especially as Hong Kong's IPO market continues to build momentum.
