Airbnb ( NASDAQ:ABNB ) shares climbed 12.27% to $191.01 at 9:30 a.m. ET on Friday, November 6, after the home-sharing platform raised its full-year outlook and unveiled a new $12 billion share repurchase authorization. Investors got growth and cash return in one package. That combination is rare in a jittery market.
Third-quarter revenue reached $4.87 billion, up 19%, while net income rose to $1.89 billion from $1.37 billion. Nights and Seats Booked grew 16% to 155 million, adjusted EBITDA climbed 22% to $2.51 billion, and free cash flow hit $1.43 billion, a 29% margin. Airbnb now expects 2026 revenue growth in the high teens and an adjusted EBITDA margin of about 36%. For the fourth quarter, it guided revenue to $3.22 billion to $3.28 billion, though it expects that quarter's margin to dip slightly year over year.
The GuruFocus chart shows a GF Score of 90/100, with Momentum and GF Value standing out and Profitability and Financial Strength solid. Shares sit about 6% above a GF Value of $180.72, so the valuation is close to fair rather than cheap. The new authorization equals roughly 11% of the $112.62 billion market value; the test is whether Airbnb keeps volume growth in the mid-teens next year.
