German footwear company Birkenstock Holding plc ( BIRK , Financials ) rose almost 15% after upgrading its full-year sales forecast.

Third-quarter revenue climbed 13 percent to 719.5 million euros, boosted by strong demand in all main markets.

The Americas increased 11 percent while Europe, the Middle East, and Africa gained 15 percent. Sales in the Asia-Pacific region grew 18%.

Birkenstock also kept selling more directly to customers. Direct-to-consumer revenue grew 14% and accounted for almost 39% of quarterly revenues.

The company raised its guidance for fiscal 2026 sales growth to 15% on a constant currency basis, compared to a previous range of 13% to 15%.

Not all was stronger. Adjusted earnings of 0.74 per share missed expectations narrowly and Birkenstock kept its annual earnings outlook unchanged.

But investors focused on the higher sales expectation and the company's ability to keep demand robust without having to lean significantly on discounts.

This is a big deal for Birkenstock. The brand continues to demonstrate its ability to grow and defend its premium position.
