Gold.com (GOLD) declared another $0.20 quarterly cash dividend, keeping its current payout intact even as fiscal first-quarter revenue declined from a year earlier.

The dividend is payable December 2, 2026, to shareholders of record as of November 19. At the current quarterly rate, the regular dividend annualizes to $0.80 per share.

The payout comes alongside a mixed fiscal first quarter.

Revenue fell 11% year over year to $3.27 billion, but gross profit increased 23% to $89.6 million. Gross margin improved to 2.74% from 1.98%a year earlier, suggesting the company generated better economics from a smaller top line.

Profitability improved as well.

Gold.com reported $1.6 million of net income, or $0.05 per diluted share, compared with a $0.9 million loss a year earlier. EBITDA rose 22% to $17.4 million.

Underlying customer activity also held up better than the revenue decline might suggest.

Gold ounces sold increased to 463,000 from 439,000, while silver ounces sold rose to nearly 14 million from 10.4 million. New direct-to-consumer customers jumped to 96,100 from 69,400, although average order value declined to $3,482 from $3,863.

Management described the quarter as a slower market environment following unusually strong activity earlier in the year, while pointing to better margins and continued integration of recent acquisitions, including Sunshine Mint.

Investor Takeaway

I think the dividend matters less because of its absolute size and more because of what it says about management's confidence.

Gold.com is maintaining the regular $0.80 annualized payoutdespite an 11% revenue decline, while gross profit, margins and EBITDA all improved year over year.

That makes this more than a routine dividend announcement.

The company appears comfortable returning capital while still investing in acquisitions and vertical integration.

The main caution is cash flow. Operating cash flow was negative $638.6 millionin the quarter, driven heavily by working-capital movements, so investors should watch whether that normalizes rather than assuming the dividend is risk-free.

For investors, the key things to watch are precious-metals trading activity, gross-margin durability, customer growth, operating cash flow and whether Gold.com keeps the $0.20 quarterly payout intact through softer market conditions.

The dividend is steady.

The more important question is whether the improving underlying profitability can stay that way.
